Legit patch

Look forward to testing out the high block --- 20% reduction should be perfect; couple that with no more magic combos, and striking will be about as good as it can be (without a full physics and system overhaul haha but I can wait til UFC 3 )

Sounds like Grapple Advantage Meter is only for quick match/single player/practice....good decision. I already have a great gauge on how GA works but will definitely play around in practice mode more to tune my 'intuition'. But I don't think it should be part of ranked/UT/etc. so that's good news I think.

New tutorials! I'll check out for the fun of it. Would have been nice to have at launch but hey, it is what it is better late than never.

No more magic combos. Sounds almost too good to be true but ---

NO MORE MAGIC COMBOS!

I can't stress this enough, this change has made striking in UFC 2 feel so much better and that fact I can now block everything makes me feel like I have total control over my fighter.

I LOVE THIS CHANGE GPD!!! LOVE IT!!!

I look forward to seeing how the AI changes turn out.

For me, the one remaining, egregiously cheap thing you can do against the AI is heavily favor takedowns in your strategy. Have been complaining about that since release. AI just had very poor TDD. Made me not want to use wrestlers against the AI.

In addition, the arm damage/recovery change will balance out the human's affinity for high block vs. the AI's usage of all forms of defense. Cannot wait to get back home to play this game.

From the last thread before it was locked (hope I don't get in trouble!)

Bassi Wrote:

when referring to the Grapple Advantage Meter.

Does this mean, maybe, we'll get another LEC event?? It's my favorite mode, hope so!

Have they added More colors to the trunks like the ones worn at UFC 200?

No. GPD already said they were not.

Yes, yes. These fixes along with the addition of Abel Trujillo make me very happy. Will try them out soon.

Awesome, thanks EA. Is this the last patch? Still holding out hope for Will Brooks and Brock Lesnar to be added.

Stnsup its better but its harder to finish fights now why did they not add more power to strike...

That is a good thing. People who are close in skill should be going to decisions.

The introduction of this grapple advantage meter is gonna make high level fights so much tighter than ever before. So easy to play around with it in quick match then take that knowledge into ranked. My secrets are no longer secrets now haha.

I tried 3 times and no one will go into Holloway mode. 2 ranked fights with him and 1 quick match and no one wants to bang.

Most people won't know about it.

Do they have to taunt as i am taunting? Or within a certain time limit?

How noticeable is it once you enter "Mad Max" mode?

# 19 Evil97 @ 08/16/16 03:57 PM
The GA advantage after a hit stun is alarming. Now that I see it, I just slam people after a simple overhand right. Just had a guy using Holloway quit after 1 minute, and I kept letting him up to give him a chance to taunt me later.

Any time after you taunt will work.

You can tell it registered because he's do the same thing Lamas did.

Nothing changes visually, the most obvious way to tell is to try and back pedal and you'll go super slow.

Or try and shoot a takedown and it worn't work.

Or watch your stamina not drain.
