Can anybody tell me wtf that was at 7:03 of this video? Also, 3 kicking team recovered onside kicks in one game?

The more I see the less excited I become. As a single player cfm it's alarming that cpu qbs are making no movement in the pocket. They don't slide or step up they just sit there until they throw a dot to some one.

4:38 the TD to Funchess, ok he uses play maker but there are 3 defenders there and no one covers him. Where's the improved zone logic?

7:38 cams TD run, number 47 just lets him stroll in. Defenders are still WAY to slow to react to scrambling qbs. As soon as cam pulled the ball down 47 shoulda filled the gap, now if cam trucks him and scores well that's what cam does but there no attempt at all.

What's up with that pass from Rogers in the 4th qtr where his receiver does a control catch diving to the ground and bounces up in the air to his feet..... All madden bs from the cpu creating any opportunity to win even if defying physics

don't you think that they will tune this up before they release the game or maybe in day 1 or day 2 patch

why do you become less excited, from all that I have seen it becomes more apparent that this game is going to be one of the best Maddens in a long time

cause each video I've watched I see more and more concerning things. I am still so excited to get the game and I know it will be one of the best maddens but my expectations have definitely lowered.

Yeah, that's something that needs to be fixed asap. I don't remember it being that bad last year. I do remember there were issues with certain guys like Cutler for some reason constantly scrambling and maybe this is a result of that. On the plus side I've really liked the timing I've seen on a lot of the routes by QB's but the fact that they're statues from snap to finish paired with the lack of inaccuracies isn't a good look.

Next year needs to be line play overhaul and QB pocket awareness overhaul for sure.

According to JP, these games were captured last month.

I'm hoping that the fix to the rush is received in a day 1 patch, because, based on these videos, there is no pass rush.

The former I believe and if they're wrong, they can easily fix it through the tuner sets

I wonder if they can tune the pocket awareness and AI as well without making the CPU scramble happy. I only mention that because if the rush is decent I can see a lot of issues arising with QB's essentially becoming tackle dummies in the backfield. It's a tough thing to balance that they've never really gotten right as far as it either being way too many sacks or way too little pressure.

I dunno, I don't think the pass rush is that bad. Maybe I'm crazy, but I've seen the QB hit the ground a lot in the vids I've seen.

I dont think its that the QB's havent been getting hit, it just seems to me that more often than wed like to see they have enough time to make a sandwich standing in the pocket. its more of a consistency thing imo.

Pass rush is more than sacks, it's making the qb move and making him uncomfortable. If you speed up the clock in a qbs head they make more mistake. What I want to see that I'm not seeing pass rush wise are defensive ends taking an angle that forces the qb to step up where the defensive tackles can get to him. In this packer video and other the qbs are taking their drops and just staying there bc the ends are not doing their jobs at all.

The Bills Vikings video shows some of this that you're talking about with the pressure.
