If the ovr is low look at the tackle prc and other stuff..I'm heard last night ovr doesn't really hold weight

I'd think a good deal of the 90's / 80's on Dallas belong to the ENTIRE OL, Romo, Elliot, Witten, and Dez. Then you factor in Scandrick, Lee, and McClain and there you go. <<< That's 12 players right there.

IMO beyond these twelve that team lacks much else that should be in the 80's. Just a football fan's perspective.

So Gronk has 92 run blocking. That puts him tied for 14th highest run blocking in all of Madden. Seems a bit weird.

Possibly, plus the awareness modifier... might not be that simple though.

I'd agree with that, Greenway is a team guy by this point and could regress a bit this season. Kendricks needs moving to WLB in Year2, his OVR should jump up as he is better suited to play there in the 4-3. Makes formation subbing Barr in for the A-gap blitz muuuuuccch quicker.

Has EA ever even heard of Demarious Randall, and Quinton Rollins? Randall's rating should be on par with Darby's. Such a joke.

This just killed any potential to hop in an online league for sure. Until ratings are updated and changed, I'm good with editing and offline. Just small lol's, Corey grant, KR for the jags runs a 4.25 yet has 96 speed with 90 acc. Marquise Lee is clearly the fastest WR on the roster, yet ARob is at 90 and Lee is 88 Spd. Lastly, Myles Jack is a LB that played RB in College yet is at 83 spd. Ijs[emoji42]

For the Jaguars how is Linder not at least an 83 OVR? He's the best lineman on the team and has been reported to be just as dominant as he was before his injury last year.

He's rated lower than Joeckel.

I don't think Walters is slow enough to deserve an 81 SPD. He got open plenty last year on 3rd downs.

I didn't want to dig too deep because of the outcry of other teams players as well. After preseason I expect a HUGE ratings jump for the entire 53. Especially Fowler, Jack , and Linder(our best OL).

Edit: I might as well include RG Cann, RT Parnell, WR Greene, DT Sheldon Day, CB Davon House, and FS Tashaun Gipson because they all are underrated. Our LT and LG spots were weak and Linder on IR didn't help; but Beachum at 82 should mean LG is our weakest link. Our entire line got screwed up lol but at least we can edit.

Finally....lower ratings...everyone going crazy based on how madden dealt with ratings in the past....how about we feel how these guys play in game and stop focusing on an opinion based numbering system. Guess what? We now have comp pl eye player editing and there will be tons of rosters to download this year. This is good. I want rosters that are scaled between 40-90, with 90 plus being the GOATs....its going to be a fun year! Especially considering I'm STILL playing madden 16, that has never happened since 2005. Football is in the air!

The ratings were down with more weight based upon the skills needed for each position, while OVR may be low due to some awr ratings the actual position ratings is making it go..heard this on gamechangers radio last night

I get that, but OVR is still suppose to represent the player's overall value compared to the rest of the players at their position.

# 115 Hova57 @ 08/03/16 02:47 PM
Take a look at his Twitter numerous times he states the OVR isn't a true depiction of that players skill..I recommend checking out gamechangers radio last night on twitch with shopmaster it def helped me understand the ratings this year

This must be by design. But what does that mean? I bet that incoming rookies will have different numbers for PRC and AWR.
Maybe Kane has some answers for your observation?!

Cam and Tom Brady should at least have 97 ratings. 94??? Wtf.

Underrated
Cam Newton- MVP .Should be at least 98
Tom Brady- Goat should be at least 97
Michael Bennett- Best LE in the game. Can play all positions on dine. Should at least be 96.
Khalil Mack - Most complete OLB in the game. 1st team all pro at two positions. At least should be 97
Brandon Marshall- Vet that had 15 tds with over 1500 yds. Enough said
Matt Forte- Great overall PLAYER
Earl Thomas - BEST Pure safety

Overrated
Von Miller- Great pass rusher and can cover. Not the best OLB in nfl
Aaron Rodgers- Great but should not be highest rated qb. Had a down year without Jordy
Chris Harris Jr. -shouldn't be 2nd rated corner over pat, Sherman
Laveon Bell- Not that he isn't the best rb. But only one great season and him messing up so much. Ap still deserves that.
He didn't have a down year our WR's did. Hard to put up GOAT numbers when no one gets open.

Can't say I agree with all the ratings, but I wouldn't expect to anyway. I like a lot of the changes I see.

I'm assuming throw power is factoring into a QBs accuracy rating? Because it wouldn't really add up if it's just short, medium, and deep accuracy that's used to calculate it.

Was that the case in the past? If not, seems like a smart adjustment to the accuracy calculation. I vaguely remember reading something about that in one of the blogs.

# 120 Jason329 @ 08/03/16 03:52 PM
I think the spacing out of ratings is an improvement. However, why is speed something that seems to be raised and lowered with regularity. Take Keapernik for example, dude is fast. It seems just because he isn't a good QB that now they take his speed down? Same thing with people coming from college. You don't get slower in the NFL, a 4.25 40 yd dash is a 4.25.
