I don't know about the Seattly Mariners style guide but my sister works for the Giants and Ive seen the this years style guide. The black jerseys with the orange SF on the upper left corner of the jersey is in the style guide but not in the game according to the video I just watched.
The jerseys are easily the most neglected part of The Show, but no real surprises here.
- The decision not to include the Dbacks red and black alts in favor of the white/gray/teal alts is just ridiculous.
- The Cubs road alt was left out.
- The Padres new brown alt the shade of brown is way off.
However, they did add the new Brewers, Astros, and Phillies new alternates, so that's very nice to see. It's a mixed bag this year as far as jerseys go. I just hope in next years game that the jerseys get a bit more love.

They don't have enough jersey slots to include the black jersey. They already have the Orange alternate and the road grey alternate. They wouldn't have been able to add the black jersey without removing one of the others. Hopefully in the future they figure out a way to add more uniform slots.

I'm not sure it's wise to publicly point out something that could cause your sister to lose her job.
The blue jays spring hats look better in the game than in real life lol in real life they look like Dallas Cowboys hats, in the video they look like the right shade of blue so thats good even if it isnt accurate.
I know it's a matter of slots sometimes, but still some decisions are baffling. I wonder if they use any data on how often jerseys get worn. There are tonnes of good resources out there.

That's because those are the hats from last year. SCEA didn't have time to put in the new ST hats/jerseys because MLB released them late and no one knew they were coming.
That being said, I have no clue how they fudged up the Blue jays new ST hat so bad. Way to dark and it clashes with there normal blue. I laugh every time I see them on a ST game...just plain bad.

Certainly a few baffling decisions. Overall though, the jerseys that teams wear the most are in the game.
- Mariners cream are worn only on Sunday home games
- Padres camo Sunday home games
- Giants black only a few random times over the course of the season.
With the Dbacks we don't know how often which jerseys will be worn or when, but they should have least included the red and black as opposed to the white/gray alts.
Ultimately more uniform slots need to be added next year. Most of these omissions aren't really a surprise as they said they didn't add more slots for this year.
