Amazon has posted some MLB The Show 16 Conquest and Battle Royale details. We should see a trailer and a Twitch stream during the week. For now, post your thoughts!

Battle Royale Mode
The ultimate high-stakes Diamond Dynasty experience, this mode challenges users to take a drafted squad through a single-player, online tournament. Each win will bring a new set of rewards closer, but only the best players will stand the Battle Royale test.

ShowTime
Experience baseball's most epic plays like never before. ShowTime takes critical in-game Road To The Show moments and slows them down to give you maximum control. Make Gold Glove plays and come through in the clutch with this empowering tool that allows finer, more focused user control.

Conquest Mode mentioned as well.
Not a DD player myself, but I'm sure some will enjoy these.

if i can get someone to make a really sweet logo for my uniform in 16 this year, i will be in DD a lot more so i will probably atleast dabble into these 2 modes.

From the sound of it these modes don't seem like a money grab especially if Battle Royal is exactly like Madden's Draft Champions. You just fantasy draft a team and get rewards towards DD, I would assume, when you win.

These boards seem to get bitter about anything "ultimate team". Didn't some of you guys collect baseball cards when you were younger?

It is a fun mode and can be played online or offline and against your friends.

I definitely will be a franchise guy, but this is the only ultimate team mode I do enjoy. Props to SDS for being innovative and working hard this year to get us another great title!

Hoping this is a way to play with your DD team in offline games. I like playing online they improved the servers and online gameplay but with my mediocre wifi it's easier to play offline games but random games against CPU teams isn't as fun as this sounds like it will be if it's your DD team. Pumped for next week

I believe this is what Conquest mode is about, based on that description above. It seems like a single-player branch-off of DD.

Yeah DD gets two completely new modes while other modes get overlooked.

This is amazing news. Madden 16's version of this game mode is the best new game mode in a sports game since Ultimate Team in 2009.

As a Diamond Dynasty only player, this could not please me enough.

I don't play games on-line but I play DD just for the card collecting and trading. Last year I spent more time on the card collecting then I ever thought I would when it was announced.

This would actually make me very happy as someone who is interested in Diamond Dynasty and building a squad but has little desire to play random strangers on the internet.

One thing I bet (unfortunately) is that conquest mode I doubt will be able to use broadcast or hybrid mode. I really hope im wrong... I want to see my team in all its glory! or you know make expansion possible.

Why would the draft mode be single player only? Hopefully just botched wording but I really want that mode to be h2h also! Guess we'll find out Monday
