Some MLB The Show 16 Conquest & Battle Royale Details Have Been Revealed

These boards seem to get bitter about anything "ultimate team". Didn't some of you guys collect baseball cards when you were younger?

It is a fun mode and can be played online or offline and against your friends.

I definitely will be a franchise guy, but this is the only ultimate team mode I do enjoy. Props to SDS for being innovative and working hard this year to get us another great title!

Very excited for the mode. Potential to be lots of fun, something I focus on when playing video games.

Hoping this is a way to play with your DD team in offline games. I like playing online they improved the servers and online gameplay but with my mediocre wifi it's easier to play offline games but random games against CPU teams isn't as fun as this sounds like it will be if it's your DD team. Pumped for next week

I believe this is what Conquest mode is about, based on that description above. It seems like a single-player branch-off of DD.

DD desperately needed a single player mode other than playing random CPU teams. This is great!

Yeah DD gets two completely new modes while other modes get overlooked.
