The Complete EA Sports UFC 2 Roster

EA Sports revealed the full EA Sports UFC 2 roster today. In short, the roster is rather large with several notable names which you'd expect to see with the various weight classes from Heavyweight to Flyweight for the men and Strawweight and Bantamweight for the women.

There are also numerous fighters who appear in more than one weight class, so keep that in mind as you look through the list.

This is a stacked roster to say the least. I don't see any omissions that really stick out like a sore thumb like last year when Dillashaw and Matt Brown were not included at launch. I will hand it to EA that they stay on top of updates, even last year when the game got less than stellar reviews, they continued to provide updates to fighter additions at attribute changes.

As far as omissions, I read somewhere that Sage Northcutt, Jessica Aguilar, Abel Trujillo and Evan Dunham would be DLC shortly after launch. The only other guys that I want personally are Gleison Tibau, Louis Smolka and Rony Jason. I can see Mickey Gall (due to Punk publicity) and maybe Ryan Hall (TUF winner being added at some point, especially Gall. I can also see some legends being added similar to last year. I can see Kevin Randleman as a tribute of sorts and maybe two or three others. They added Brock who had been in WWE for two years at that point and Rampage who was on the outs with the company, so maybe we could get a Ken Shamrock or Dan Severn and Brock would not surprise me.

Um......because he's a legend....? Using your logic, why would Muhammad Ali be in a Fight Night game? He hasn't fought since the 80's. Also why is Mike Tyson in the game? He's not even a UFC fighter.

CM Punk is one of the biggest names in the UFC even before fighting in the UFC.

CB Dollaway was a top 10 fighter as recent as a year ago.

Bagutinov is in the game.

Trujillo (who I love) is 1-2 in his last three fights and has never been a top 15 fighter. He will probably be DLC anyway.

They said in an interview that Sage got "big" after they had locked the rosters, and that he was an example of the type of guy that would be coming in free DLC.

I'm not as worried as some people when it comes to who is available in which weight class, since we have a lot of flexibility to mix classes in Event mode. It does boggle my mind a bit that we can mix them in event mode and not in exhibition.

I knew he would be a dlc If he wasn't in the final 250, like you I'm not fussed on who didn't make it that much because of how many fighters there actually is available

I saw the name Pascal Krauss, and immediately thought of James Krause who fought just last week. Then I looked again and realized that James isn't in the game at all. I looked up Pascal Krauss only to find that he hasn't fought a single bout since August 2013, yet James Krause has fought 6 times since Pascal last fought and he isn't included... Odd.

Pascal Krauss was in UFC 1. They didnt delete any fighter who was in UFC 1 who is still under contract with the UFC (See Sonnen and Kampmann).
