I can still load up the game and play against the AI in practice mode. However, whenever I quit the session an error occurs that exits the game and brings me back to the PS4's XMB.
More advanced techniques like the question mark kick should not be mapped to basic strike controls. I'm using Rory, and in his natural stance, his basic head kick with the rear leg (left stick away from opponent + O) is replaced with the question mark kick. I can't even do a simple head kick with the rear leg, how silly is that? The q. mark kick is a move that's not often done irl, but here it's so common to see because it's mapped to the basic strike (which is especially irritating to see when fighting the AI).
And the worst part is, it's also mapped to the modified strike (holding L1)! They should've just kept this only to the modified strike, and used the simple head kick with the basic strike. I don't understand why it's the same move with both.
Add the oblique kick to moves that shouldn't be mapped to basic strikes. I can't do a basic (rear foot) leg kick with Carlos Condit in this game, much less combos that incorporate it, because all he has is the oblique kick.
Condit irl throws some of the best striking combinations in mma, mixing in punches and elbows with head, body, and leg kicks, both using the front and rear foot.
1) They can go on runs where they parry 6 to 8 strikes in a row no matter if u mix it up or not.
2) How do you tell which side to defend when they have your back in the sitting position? I can deny it staring at the icon but can't figure out from the hand fighting which direction they are going without the icons off. They are simply fighting with your hands so the "tell" I can't figure out.
I believe they will slide an arm.in one direction at a certain point

This is by far the hardest position to learn the tells.
With it just being hand fighting, it's hard to tell what's going on.

It's possible though, just very tricky.
GameplayDevUFC, are you going to allow us to use offline mode until the game is released? *Fingers Crossed* Most of us didn't get a chance to play that much so i was hoping this is the case.

Several of us have mentioned it is still working just fine, so I'm guessing that will be the case.

I dont think that is GPD's call but the beta is still available for me right now.
If you didn't get in on the beta right away, are you poop out of luck?
Yeah, they arent handing out codes anymore. Also there is no demo so the earliest people will see the game is on March 10 when the game is released on EA Access.
5 bucks to start the game early?
Just might have to do it for this one.
I'm hoping that I'm going to get a copy of the game the first week of March but if not I'll be rolling with Access even though I plan to play exclusively on the ps4.

I'm not seeing this at all. The most I've seen in a row is 4 and thats because I kept leading with the same punch. When I mix it up and throw feints, I rarely even see more than 2 in a row.
There was one really neat thing I noticed in the beta that I think I forgot to mention. A few times when someone was throwing one of the crazier spinning kick I happened to go for a takedown (or maybe it was a grapple) partway through their attempt. When you do that your fighter will basically just shove your opponent to the ground. Really cool that they included that.
