MLB The Show 16 Trailer, Josh Donaldson is the Cover Athlete - Ships 3.29.16

Just announced at the PlayStation Experience, Josh Donaldson is the cover athlete for MLB 16 The Show. Will get trailer up in a bit. The game arrives on March 29, for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 (No Vita).

Is the territory game based on something like this? Look at the territory behind the Blue Jays logo in the trailer. It looks like a representation of that area's geography where the Blue Jays are based.

The game could be about generating fans in MLB territories like on the map. That's just my speculation.

Maybe the Blue Jays don't have to defend their territory from anyone which is why the options might be locked, but you may see rivalries between Yankees/Mets, Angels/Dogers, A's/Giants, and so on.

That's just my speculation though. lol'ing at Florida, though.

� Running animation still needs to be improved still stutter steps before touching first base. Clearly seen in the trailer! :/

� Wish they would motion capture stealing and base running was hoping for this

� Graphics seem updated but were already fantastic

� Will still buy because of year to year saves as stats get carried over!

Rogers Center roof is closing!!!!! A Jay is on the American cover!!!!! Crap, now I'll actually have to work to find things to complain about.

Umm umm... terminators on the mound? Oh wait, that was addressed too.

But I'm on OS. Must... find... things to nitpick...

Something about uniforms? Nailed it. Whew, that was a close one.

Either that or we should have a player on an American team grace the cover in Canada this year. How about Joey Votto? That works since it will keep to the trend over the last two years of having a Canadian on the cover.

It's going to be very hard for me to enjoy this game without a wide variety of career stats, I know they are in the game somewhere because you are notified when a player hits a milestone like 200 career steals, it's just a matter of showing them

Thanks, I didn't catch that shot and I played this about ten times... six or so times after you told me this.

I guess you were right when you mentioned the HD video thing, because I didn't see that one.

e: to the above, when the roof is open the only part still 'covered' is over the OF seats. All of that stuff is only there if its closed.

But yeah, San Diego Studio really knows how to tease us. I hope they announce details for the conquest mode soon, because I hope our speculation doesn't hype up the mode too much so we are all disappointed later.

Lighting looks even better than last year, which says a lot. Super stoked for closed roofs. Was hoping for new player models, oh well.

Ok I'm gonna sound like a huge homer here, but why does SCEA hate Mike Trout? I'm not saying that he should be on the cover or anything, but he hasn't been featured in a single trailer or in game menu in the last 4 years. Obviously I'm biased, but it's just kind of puzzling seeing one of the games best players continually get no love from my favorite baseball game, while pretty much everyone else gets featured. I just don't get it.

Alright, I'll go back to shutting up now.

New player models was probably what i was looking forward to the most (been this way since the first version on ps4), and continue to be let down. Graphically, i don't see anything else that needs to be upgraded other than player models, but it continues to be relatively ignored.

And hopefully Trout gets a new face scan this year

I don't like the slow mo effect when fielding and hitting so hopefully those can be turned off.

Finally closed roofs, now just give us real wind again and fans and managers not wearing jackets in Arizona in April and I'll be happy! Wrigley looks great
