I played 3 online head to head matches. While they are fun, it needs a lot of work.

-Interior defense needs work.
-A lot of 3s are shot.
-THERE IS NO FATIGUE. The starters run all game without any loss of stamina.

Yeah, make sure you have fatigue set to on. There's plenty of fatigue/stamina in game. At the end of games, you'll see guys get absolutely gassed without any rest.

One thing that bugs me is that there is not nearly enough layups off the glass, everything is just straight in. It kinda reminds me of nba live 09.

I saw in the other thread that you're referencing online play? I'm not sure if that's the case. I'll report it to see if someone can enlighten us on it.

I hope they see your message and unlock this as this is the only thing holding me back from buying this game over the other one!

Not sure how big of an issue this is but I was just playing the Allstar game match up and at the end off the first I hit a 3 with Kyrie right as the buzzer went off but it did not count. I was positive I got the shot off in time but checked out the replay to make sure. Ball was clearly out of his hands with 0.1 still on the clock.

Like I said not sure how big of an issue this is but if it happens fairly often it could be extremely frustrating if people are losing games because of a shot that didn't count at the buzzer, regardless if it is a 4th quarter buzzer beater or a 1st quarter.

Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Yes online head 2 head matches. The other ppl I played ran their starters all game as well so I dont believe its an issue with a setting on my end. I could be wrong though. Thanks for checking on this.

In a nutshell, I will say straight out ,I want the old NBA Live Shot controlls back. X and O (360) and Square and O (ps3) For dunking and shooting. The Eurostep/prostep button is far too easy to use and in general, its' a money shot that at times is impossible to stop. I think a Shot stick wouldn't be a bad idea for the future either, but this one button stuff is really getting to me.

The game itself has some good moments, Again, I love playing with a human than the cpu. it's a totally different experience. The shot meter absolutely needs adjusted esepcially for All Star and Superstar, needs to be toned down extensively. Shot meters seem nice on paper, but I thought it was more fun figuring out shot styles of the different players to perfect your game.

Overall, lots of good effort on EA's part, I'm still planning on buying. I hope future patches tone down some things. Defense needs to be improved please and please tone down the eurostep/prostep button. ProAm has potential. Love the replay value it has.

A friend told me if you order this game now you can get the full game on the 25th? (Tomorrow) so if I do the preorder now I get the game early? I have EA access too.

I do not think you get the full game. NBA 2k16 has an early tip off edition for preorders which allows you to play on the 25th. Don't think Live is doing that. If you have EA Access, you can download the trial which is good for 10hrs.

Its not as polished as 2k but I am enjoying it.

Interior offense and defense is way too easy and lacks animations

The Shot meter is much better than NBA 2k15s

On ball defense seems improved over NBA Live 15

Your offensive AI teammates work to get open. I like that

All I got so far

I downloaded last night but haven't gotten a chance to play. I can post my impressions in here although they will likely be biased. I've been a 2K buyer since Dreamcast but Live proves me wrong.

So, Luke Babbitt is scanned and he has his shoulder length hair but they gave him a generic player card? Haven't seen many jet pack animations in the post either, which is good. The rookies need their scans into the game ASAP. Also just learned that the shot meter moves faster for certain players, especially when trying to shoot off the dribble, which I do a lot if I blow by you after crossing you up, if you seen any of my videos

Please do. Would like to see the following:
1) graphics chart for the CPU game broke down by quarters.
2) CPU midrange game
3) Interior defense - much too easy to score on the inside.
4) Is the CPU still prone to drive the paint and shoot 3 pointers?

The cpu takes mid range shots play against zack Randolph and he was shooting mid range, and there's been other times too.

I agree with Randolph. He took 3 midrange shots just in the 1st qtr when I played them this morning
