I don't even think Melo better than giannis

Yeah, I cannot really take someone serious who says this Gia-godzilla guy is better than Melo.

I love Giannis, but jeez lol. Melo is still an elite scorer. Giannis isn't elite at anything yet.

Just curious, where would you put Rudy Gay, Andrew Wiggins, Giannis Antetokounmpo, or DeMarre Carroll if you're going to drop him?
Maybe it's just my perception of him, but I think those numbers are only that high because he's the #1 option for the Jazz. I feel as if he played on a playoff roster he wouldn't be nearly as productive. But he is good. I would maybe move him down past Rudy Gay, and again, move Parsons up to about the same spot as him. The rest of them are pretty good IMO. I like the other ratings. I just dislike how a quality SF like Parsons isn't on the list, even with the same ratings as Giannis and Carroll. I feel like he's a bit better than them.

Ratings look really nice. IMO, I don't feel LeBron is 3 points higher than KD but no biggie and Carroll is underrated. Dude is a fantastic 3-D guy and ROOFL @ the guy that said Giannis > Carmelo...

Then should Cousins be a 85 because he's not on a playoff team?

Just because he put up numbers (efficient ones, at that) on a non-playoff team doesn't mean that he's below a tier as Rudy Gay, who did the exact same thing except with a worse squad.

You could argue that he is an elite defender but that can't be proven as easily as scoring ability. Still, Carmelo is a superior player he may take a hit production wise depending on how his knee heals up.

I think the tier below LeBron, Kevin and to a lesser extent Carmelo should be more closely bunched together. Kawhi, Gordon, Rudy, Paul, et cetera should be placed closer together in the next tier below the elite players, IMHO

So far, I think a majority of the Spurs are a little overrated individually (Kawhi, Timmy, Manu & Tony) while Danny Green got shafted because he has what is considered a "more limited" skillset.

Here you go lol and no gap should be closed with players like Rudy Gay involved.

Surprised LeBron isn't rated higher if the overall is supposed to be rated against the entire history of the game.

LeBron is probably already Top 5 at his position.

But the fact he's only a 94 makes me even more confident in 2K's ratings. It's also great because it means more delusional posters get to argue over something so insignificant as a player rating. Those are always the best posts.

The Jazz is not a bad team. I think it's time to understand, accept that.
I think small forward ratings are great.
For Parsons vs Hayward comparison, I think last year it became clear that Hayward is a better player and he showed he could handle a much tougher role.
Hayward's a better passer, better ball handler and a better shooter off dribble.
Parsons is a slightly better defender and a better spot up shooter as well as being a better rebounder.

Don't put your cape on for him as he's gonna show the league himself.

Spoiler

You have a great point. I guess I'm just a little bit biased, as Parsons is one of my fave players, and even as a Utah resident I'm not a huge Jazz fan. Maybe he is better than Parsons, but I feel as if he is still slightly over-rated. IMO, Giannis and Gay are better than him. But again, it's a very close toss-up with all of those. I feel like there are the incredibly talented SFs (LBJ, KD, Melo), and then the great ones are all in the same league as each other. I guess we can't blame 2k for having their opinions about which players are better.

Current Lebron isn't as good as he was in 09' 10' 12' or 13'. He lacks the same athleticism as his earlier years, but wasn't nearly as effienct or as good a defensive amplayer as he was in his two championships years. So I think a 94 is good for him. I think 96 would be a good rating for 13 Lebron

Either Durant must rise or Harden must fall.
Doesn't sound right saying Harden is better than Durant. Neither is Curry. Only player better than KD is LeBron imo.

Durant is 91 because of an injury hit. He'll be adjusted quickly if he returns to form. This is actually welcome to see.

I'm not buying what they selling with that. As I mentioned a few times, why would Durant be the only one to receive this injury hit? What about Melo and Matthews who are both coming off of injuries of similar or greater severity? Melo took no ratings hit compared to last season and Matthews in fact, is rated higher (81 vs 78 in 2K15) which is just generally odd.
