NBA 2K16 MyCAREER Trailer: The Whole Story

2K today unveiled the NBA 2K16 and Spike Lee Joint, MyCAREER: The Whole Story trailer. Players can expect a complex and unique journey on their path from high school to college to NBA stardom. This trailer also showcases this year's NBA 2K16’s MyCAREER experience, including fully customizable courts, player connections and additional innovative features.

Nah, they don't really do them. They come out and shoot around pregame. Though I guess there may be some teams that still do it? I know the Bulls don't. Suns, Heat, Pistons, Nets, Hornets and Bucks didn't at the games I've been to recently.

Hopefully no more cheesy cutscenes after you make the league. I want to win/lose because of how the team played not because it was written.

Only reason I think college might be closer to a full season is I read that how you perform in college determines your draft stock. While that could still mean you're limited to a few games it sounds like you play more than enough games maybe a full season in order to prove yourself

Yeah I think it's apart of the shootaround though

Not that that's necessarily something they show on tv.

Nice trailer. Wished they led off with this on Monday.

Some thoughts:

This year's practice looks very promising. What I thought 2K15's practice was going to be.
I wonder if we can use our college logos in our home. Anyone know?
I still feel like I am missing a lot of info on this mode.

Whatever happens I am sure Spike Lee's story will be a lot better than the last couple of years and that is something very positive.

Still wondering how where I want to go to college would affect the cannon of the mode. Unless they did get a lot of schools rather than a small list, I wonder how the story line will go if I went to one of the schools listed for creating a player but not licensed in the mode.

They all do "layup lines". Some players take jumpers, some layups and some do both..... some do fancy dunks. It's all part of the pre-game warm ups

They said they're coming out with a blog on MyCareer as well. Basing from the previous blogs might be Wednesday next week.

The roster creators are going to cook up some dope college mods this year. 2K16 looks like it's coming for the crown on 2k11's head.

Yea the Kings run them towards the tail end of their shootaround at the games I go to throughout the season. Never should skimp on the basic fundamentals of the game

As far as this trailer.... This right here is the kind of depth that will keep me invested in this mode. Positive steps in the right direction!
