Madden NFL 16 Player Likeness Update Available Now For Xbox One & PS4

EA Sports has just released their Madden NFL 16 player likeness update. It includes more than 180 players across the league. No official player list has been revealed.

Currently the update is only available for Xbox One users. It should be available for PlayStation 4 users at a later time. When it does, this post will get updated.

UPDATE: The player likeness update is now available for PlayStation 4 users. If you can't find it in the Store, just log into your Sony account and grab it here.

EA Sports has also posted the full spreadsheet on their blog, with all of the players that were updated.

To get the Madden NFL 16 player likeness update on Xbox One, simply view the game hub or search for Madden NFL 16, click view in store, tab over to add-ons (scroll down and hit the ... to open all add-ons), on the far right, you should see the player likeness update. Click it and download, it's free and weighs in at 619 MB.

Earl Thomas hasn't been scanned, I've said this a few times now, it's a players option when we come to the teams.

The above is an excel sheet with positions, teams and ratings for players with realistic/scanned/unique faces. It is based on the work done in this forum plus the lists for the m15 and m16 Addons from EA.

I had absolutely nothing to do at work, and I found a complete excel for the m16 base set, and simply did some mumbo jumbo to cut it to non-generic players. If you know a few excel basics you can sort for a lot of factors to find non-generic players for your cfm. Attributes will help with scheme fit, etc.

It is not perfect, let me know if you have things to be changed. It is based on the default rosters/mut base set, so players may be on the wrong teams. Also, players who were free agents when the game shipped do not have attributes. I have no plan to add them. I tried to add positions and the team they signed with. I did this only for free agents, not players who have changed teams.

There are some big big omissions and a sack full of random players with faces, but after the update today, I think we have to be really pleased with the dedication that has gone into adding these. Huge huge upgrade in 2 years.

I am really hoping that ET gets the create-a-face treatment from you guys. He is a pretty important player in the league. Easily a top 40 player in the league, I hope he makes his way into the game.

Brandon Carr is missing his short dreads - can those be added? Also Witten still had the demon eyes.

Can't even be used in online games, or CFM. Like last year these are only play now.... -_-

Hard to justify the hard drive space, just a tease in its current state.

Yep, same as last year.

Completely pointless to download for 99% of Madden players.

They seriously should reissue these through a global title update that way they can be used online and in CFM.

Not even usable in offline CFM.......

Your guess is as good as mine. This is why for the last few pages I've been asking and it's gone completely unanswered. They really need to patch this to make it usable across all modes...
