Madden NFL 16 Player Likeness Update Available Now For Xbox One & PS4

EA Sports has just released their Madden NFL 16 player likeness update. It includes more than 180 players across the league. No official player list has been revealed.

Currently the update is only available for Xbox One users. It should be available for PlayStation 4 users at a later time. When it does, this post will get updated.

UPDATE: The player likeness update is now available for PlayStation 4 users. If you can't find it in the Store, just log into your Sony account and grab it here.

EA Sports has also posted the full spreadsheet on their blog, with all of the players that were updated.

To get the Madden NFL 16 player likeness update on Xbox One, simply view the game hub or search for Madden NFL 16, click view in store, tab over to add-ons (scroll down and hit the ... to open all add-ons), on the far right, you should see the player likeness update. Click it and download, it's free and weighs in at 619 MB.

Edit: Just went through the Chiefs and Dontari Poe and Cairo Santos now have face scans. Not sure of anyone else but those were the two I noticed on the Chiefs.

Im not seeing this yet either. Im on ps4 and east coast for what it matters but the only player likeness im currently seeing on my end is the madden 15 one.

On Xbox from the home menu I hit the menu (start) button on M16, then view game hub, then view in store. Right bumper to add-ons and click the ellipses at the bottom and there will a bunch of MUT coins/points and then the add-on was at the end for me.

You have to go look for it in the psn store if you're on ps4.

Where did you get it exactly?

Should it be listed with all the pay-for-pay point bundles? Do you see 9 add ons or more?

It isn't the madden15 likeness update, is it?

It's only available on the Xbox One at the moment. I'm assuming it'll be on PSN shortly.

Yeah that's where it was for me. It was the 10th one. It probably rolled out at some point and just isn't available every where yet. And I'd assume it will be like the tuner where once it's completely rolled out you'll be prompted similar to the tuner update.

I got it on PS4 about 3 hours ago.

It is located under 'Related Items'; Via the PS4 Home Screen not in game.

CFMs wont have to be restarted to take advantage of these updates, correct?

I'm guessing not. Its just a visual/graphic upgrade.

Jaarebear: no, at least not based on last year. However, it might be the case that new likenesses only appear in game during cfm and can't be seen via the player edit acreen
