Madden NFL 16 Patch Scheduled to Arrive Tomorrow, Roster Update Later in the Week

Rex Dickson, creative director of the Madden NFL series, has posted on Twitter that the next Madden 16 patch will go live on Wednesday.

This patch is hotly anticipated as it should help solve some CFM issues that are currently ruining in-game progression, as well as long-term progression for particular positions.

Once we get the patch notes, we will pass them along. Also, as is usually the case, the patches may go live at different points on each console.

Heck yeah man, thats good news! Looks like its time to get back to serious about madden again. Also looks like it might be time to forget about that camping trip i have planned for the weekend.

Great job EA! Waiting on roster update then diving deep into cfm this year. I want to go atleast 20 seasons this year.

I'm waiting on the roster too, and unless they've made a major gameplay change I will be playing on Default All-PRO gameplay sliders.

They had that in 15, as well. Doubt it will be fixed but try pausing then unpausing the game. That worked in 15. I haven't encountered that in 16, yet, tho....

As for the patch and roster update, I'm ready to kick off my CFM but not til the roster update.

Cool, going to wait on roster updates and make some needed changes to those. I am sure every qb is a scrambler among many things.

Hoping that progression and encoachment problem is fixed.

Tomorrow will either be a fantastic day or crazy day on OS depending on what they fixed. Hopefully the major stuff was addressed.

I suspect the latter unless everything is fixed, which is highly unlikely.

Are they going to fix the share downloading errors for PS4/XBOX?

Personally I think they will only going to fix the cfm bug. All other issues may come later on a October/November patch.

That being said I'm really worried they just capped the in game rating boost to 99. Hopefully I'm wrong and they tuned as well.

I wish they would just do away with the overall boost. It's really ruining the game for me when I have a team full of 90+ rated guys.

Here's to hoping the patch fixes more than it breaks.
