Just like Day One and Day Two, NBA players are currently posting their NBA 2K16 player ratings, along with in-game screenshots of themselves in action. Below are the players that have either posted on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram today.

A lot of the screens are older so I wouldn't be surprised, though he probably wasn't body scanned. There is a distinct lack of "glow."

If only it were that simple lol. If i'm not mistaken, back before 2k14 they were scanning faces with their technology. Now they are using Pixel Gun Studios which may use a slightly altered system etc. They are also now doing body scans so the heads have to be rescanned during that process to get the correct sizing and most up to date look. What I will say is this, the last 2 years of scanning by PGS has been damn good. Not one of the guys have looked bad really so I'm not gonna hold out on final judgement till I see a HD pic of Melo with the new lighting and without facial expressions like that Durant screen.

P.S- Just went and looked at the screen grabs from the trailer again and he looks ok now on 2nd passing. The expressions he's making and his hair darkness/lack of beard/headband thickness and placement are what's making him not look like himself. Thinking back on it, he shaved prior to last season and kept it cut the whole time he played, though he's grown back his struggle beard during his rehab. If he keeps it I hope they update it again like last year.

His fro is bigger as well , Rose looks like the same model from last year . If I want my PG to get a rescan I want my PG to get one !!!!! Hell I saw people complain cuz it looked like Blake didn't have a Beard which he does in his new scan a lil

Man tony Parker just made my heart sink, but the game is on a good path, I just hope he's still in the nba to get scanned haha.

The one person that I really don't like (if he was scanned) is Kyle Anderson. Eh, I might as well throw in Melo16 as well. Wish both of these guys would get a little bit more attention. Yes, his nose, ears, eye brows looks like Kyle Anderson but every single time I see that screenshot, I'm seeing Marco Belineli.

My bad. It was user StillFeelMe that posted the NBA2k15 Melo. If I had relabeled both screenshots below with Melo15 as NBA2k16 and Melo16 as NBA2k15, I think the OS community would say "wow" Melo15 is an absolute upgrade.

In the winning trailer, regardless of lighting or angle, you could see Melo16 barely has any definition/details in his face. Melo15 simply screams Carmelo Anthony while Melo16 is ... well, you could see it in the below screen capture. Melo16 has a last gen look to him while Melo15 has a current gen look to him.

I'm simply hoping the winning trailer Melo is from an older build with the older lighting system. I can only hope.

But do you truly believe Melo16 is okay even on 2nd and 3rd passing when compared to Durant16, Curry16, Harden16, Isaiah Thomas16's NBA2k16 facial scans? It's sort of analogous to Gran Turismo and their vehicle models. Gran Turismo has "premium" vehicle (higher scan resolution) and "standard" vehicle (lower scan resolution).

Ahh, before I forget, you're likely going to say we don't really have a Melo16 screenshot so one can't really compare, however in the winning trailer, Curry, Durant, Harden and the other players look pretty much on point. The only one that truly sticks out, graphically face wise that doesn't look like he belong is Melo16. It's very low definition with a lack of facial detail.

If I relabled Melo16 as NBA2k15 Melo....

Hope your right....like another poster said, he doesn't look in the same class as he other guys....

After Watching Kyle Anderson all Summer League, his scan looks good to me....just hope the rest of the Spurs got some love....

Besides Duncan and a handful of others, seems like we've been looked over...even after we won the ship!!

Regarding your last point, that's why I'm gonna wait until we get a quality screenshot with the updated lighting etc. since the split second he was in the trailer wasn't the most appealing. I do see the potential though, for example here's a quick (terrible) photoshop I did:

Is this really 2K16? I find it surprising that we're getting the calibre of player we are and then suddenly Parker (and inconsistently with NO RATING). Seems odd to me.....

And additionally, his arms really look more like the 2K15 style. Lighting also..... I know he's a cover athlete in France or whatever, but the lack of rating and the sheer doubt he'd have requested a screen makes me suspect this ain't really from 2K16......

The Miles, Jones, Acy etc. are all of a different quality than this Parker one aswell...... in my opinion.
