so impressed with anthony davis's evolution as a transcendent NBA player. It's great to see a big man dominate the game in this ERA when the NBA is primarily run by guards. He's one of the preeminent talents in the NBA today. The only thing that bothers me is maybe his durability? He hasn't surpassed 70 games yet in his NBA career. Maybe something to watch out for as he continues to embark on his career. the most he's played is 68 so far, i'd like him to eclipse 75 games this year. Anyway, great video.

as for NBA 2k...I really hope we can get some great accessories to add on to players this year. I'm hoping for goggles/glasses, and headbands..something that simple at the very least. there would be no excuse at that point, i mean look at all the remarkable things they have done for this latest iteration in nba 2k.

At least going from 2k15 all you could do to make a guy not appear to be so huge is decrease the shoulder width.

Increasing player height just make the entire model expand, not make the legs longer to try a more evened out look.

I think it should be there, but who knows, Im not holding my breath.

Unless they changed it, Dwight looks the same, even with the chili bowl flat top

Dwight's legs in 2k15 look like watermelons lol. Everyone doesn't have Blake Griffin cavs. Combine that with the super long wide shorts they have and the players look like they tip toe run down the court

Just give us the ability to edit this stuff if you won't do it.
Yea it's weird that we still can't edit short length and jersey fit.

2K still can't capture the length/lankiness of NBA bodies. I don't get it. The shorts extending past players knees doesn't help. It makes their legs look way too short. Maybe make the legs longer then (and skinnier)?

Either way it's rather frustrating that something hat should be so simple to do, keeps getting looked over.
I think body scanning didn't take feet and ankles in consideration or maybe it's will be a 2k17. I think body scanning is head to calfs

Definitely the best short of the 3 and had the most clips. AD looks freaking amazing. Also, D-Will looks like he's FINALLY been scanned and Asik looks touched up.

Doesn't have the fake looking rings that hold the net. Looks more like an NBA rim now

For some reason, 2k videos and screenshots could look very cartoony at times. Sometimes it looks very photo realistic. I can't explain why that happens. Just go throough the 2k15 photo thread, some pics look like a cartoon and some look very impressive. All in all, i think the game will look just fine. As for the legs and ankles, it seems as if it depends on the angles. One angle it looks ok, the next, it looks bulky. I can't call it.

The screenshots look really, really good. The player models will never be perfect and that is something people will need to realize. I think they've done a good job with Davis' body type this year. I also like that they finally, finally fixed/updated Deron Williams after he looked like trash the last two years.

Can't wait until they start actually dropping screenshots of other non cover athletes. I wonder if they've updated Tim Duncan or Kawhi Leonard?

Also I think a lot of what people have issue with, other than the lighting not improving, is the effect of the "uncanny valley." Especially since we've now had these level of graphics for going on three years and we don't notice any overt improvements.

I dont know about you guys, but i definitely think Anthony Davis's arms look weird in this clip right here. Like his elbows are bent wrong or something...

I partly disagree. I dont think anybody should ask for perfection unless they go to a real game it wont be lol.

That said my disagreement about improving whats there can be had. NBA 2k started off with very muscular tank like body builder basketball players back on the dreamcast and over the years slimmed the players down.

The issue comes in only now where players have huge legs and overly huge shorts and it makes them look funny.

Dwight Howard is a mess right now is just one example. Body types differ with people period and that should be reflected. YAOs build was much different than Mutombo the same as Iverson being slim and skinny differs from Jason Kidd.

Some of those guys have thin legs...think Tyson Chandler. While still muscle man his legs are chicken like and thats not reflected here.

I'm not complaining about the scans or anything myself but old 2Ks you were able to choose skinny large or regular types for a reason.... im not sure if it was there in 2k15 or not, i dont remember that but it cant hurt to be able to edit body types if almost everything else is.

I know the shoulder measurements might be right by number but in game it translates not so well all the time.

It kind of bothers space on the court too which could stand to be a bit bigger its gotten much better as well but theae things all translate to better experiences for us..some not as obvious.

I'm not really into nitpicking stufd we havent even seen the game just this short clip stuff which who knows if its old or not.

Hopefully they continued to add to the foot planting as well

Anyone have a link to that AD instagram video that was mentioned here which shows him setting a pick and the footwork?
