Madden NFL 16 Trial Available Now For EA Access Subscribers, Play For 10 Hours

The trial version of Madden NFL 16 is available now for EA Access subscribers. To start the download process, open up the EA Access hub, scroll over to Madden NFL 16, click View in Store and download the trial.

NOTE: It appears as though it isn't showing up for everyone in the EA Access hub. If you don’t see Madden NFL 16 in the hub, try searching for it in the Store, then download the trial.

For those of you that can download it, play a few games and let us know what you think!

REMINDER: You get 10 hours of gameplay, so make sure you exit out of the game if you are not playing. Don't pause and lose those precious minutes.

if you are a good back like Adrian Peterson you are able to make those jump cuts almost instantaneously. This game is doing that canned animation thing, which I'm not a fan of. Then again the passing controls are overly complex, catching is simple, but actual passing is ridiculous. You used to be able to just past the ball high but tapping up while throwing. Now you have to hold RB to do the exact same thing. Its not very intuitive in my opinion. I was over here thinking about the controls more than trying to play the game.

I feel video games should be pick up and play with simulation aspects. You shouldnt have to earn a degree to play the dang game. This madden is my least favorite I have ever played

I started my download 3 hours ago and am only on 4 percent. Guess I'll just leave my xbox on throughout the night and hope it finally downloads by the time i get home tomorrow. At least it's helping save more of my 10 hours for the weekend!

I hate to say it, but the more I read comments like this, the better I feel about the future of Madden.

I hope Madden keeps getting more and more complex, comparable to its real life counterpart.

Making the game complex is very different than making the controls complex. You were pretty much able to have the same control over where you place the ball except it was with the left stick. Now its LB and LT for high and low placement. Thats unnecessary imo. Could've kept it how it was, but added the catching controls like they have and the medium pass that the added. I feel those were the only necessary changes to passing controls.

I heard in another post that u can spend another 5$ n get another 10hrs n u can create a different profile n than switch it over to your main account, if anybody knows exactly how to do it can u please explain to me

Got the trial about 2 hours ago. Played a half with my Cowboys v the Eagles. Liked how it played so far. Going to play a head to head versus another player in the online CFM I'm in and mess with sliders. I'll be streaming it if anyone is interested. www.twitch.tv/charter04 I'll be on in 30 min to and hour

I will give it a second look, but right now I'm not a fan. I mean its the same with BO3 for me not a fan of the beta either. It feels somewhat cartoony like they took a crackdown approach to it..

I'll be watching. Any chance you can upload whatever you do slider wise so I can download on Friday? Didn't know if you'd be on it right away, but I always play with a modified version of your sliders every year.

Wow. And a defensive holding penalty against the cpu on my first cry. I'm crying tears of joy right now. Lol. Looked at the replay, great call. CB was simply riding WR all the way down the field to slow him down as he was slightly beaten off the line. This is actually amazing to see in madden.

Had to turn down the game speed to Very Slow, was just way too fast.

I only had time to play 1 half today. The only thing I'm happy about is the fact that they're placing emphasis on user interaction after the ball is in play.

To each their own but the whole "let the ratings play out " never made sense to me. If that's what I wanted out of a game, I'd watch cpu v cpu (which I'd neve do). So I'm really liking the different catches and different timing/button combinations they want you to use.

As long as its intuitive, I welcome any additional requirements as far as buttons are concerned, especially with the ball in the air.
