So amazing that most sports games are struggling with one franchise mode, 2k has two modes in Mygm and Myleague that are so far ahead its scary. 2k is making it hard for other Devs to use that we can only do so much in one cycle excuse with all these new additions.

Questions:

1) Can you re-brand a team without relocating them?

2) How is your Summer League roster handled? Do we have extra roster space, can we invite players who aren't officially signed to play for our SL team?

3) Can injuries carry over from Summer League or the 2k Hoops Summit to the Regular Season and vice versa?

4) Is there a way to review records before approving a trade between two CPU teams?

5) In Sim Cast Live has the Timeout logic been tweaked?

edit: And just to be safe can you confirm if Custom Draft Classes are still in the game?

....I like the classic online season....I wonder how that works with trading or signing free agents to improve rosters.
Its already been confirmed multiple times that you can continue to rollover your roster to a new league as many times as you want

Two rather insignificant questions:
1. Can shorts length be edited (would be the missing piece in revamping a roster for a pre-1990s league)

2. I wonder if the team/court customization has a cap? Is it just one customized arena/team or could we conceivably have 30?

The classic roster heads like myself would never need another basketball title.

Thank you, 2K.

Hmm I've never played any myleague or association mode in 2k. Although all this stuff sounds decent, I'll probably stick to h2h and my player.

So much awesome stuff! Can't wait to "drive" it.

Questions:

During the off season, will it be possible to trade AFTER the draft and before that start of the new season?

Will it be possible to create new uniform options for existing teams without fully rebranding them or moving them?

Just a couple of quick hitters off the top of my head.

And can we edit them after the season has started?

I'll be making a college hoops league, for sure!

Please skip this particular post if you don't want to read "concern" about this extraordinary and absolutely welcome reveal.

Haven't read everything, but coming across the following two features have me questioning whether team 2k could have gone further.

Quote:
City Selection

The first step in any Team Relocation is deciding where you want to move the franchise to. This is a big decision. We have created complete metro profiles for most of the big North American cities.
The question is can a certain team be relocated to absolutely ANY city in the United States or are we restricted to select cities dictated by 2k? If the gamer wanted to move a team to Bakersfield, or Walnut Creek, or Concord, or Daly City, or Redwood City, or Alameda California is that possible?

Team Relocation in MyLEAGUE

As you all know, MyLEAGUE is our ‘sandbox’ franchise mode, where anything goes. In this experience, you will be able to rebrand and relocate teams without the requirement of going through the application, voting, and approval process. If you want to move the Thunder to Seattle, you can do that right away. Go ahead, no one is going to stop you!
But what if I wanted to keep the Thunder and the rest of the league as is, AND want to reintroduce the Seattle Supersonics into the league? Each and every single time I read the word "relocation," all I can think about is "we need team expansion AND team relocation."

Having been born and bread in the Bay Area, I adopted the Golden State Warriors as my team. But a second team in Seattle with Gary Payton, Detlef Schrempf, Sam Perkins, and the absolutely beast of the monster dunker Shawn Kemp was ridiculously fun to watch whenever I got the chance, however seldom that may be. I can't help but feel for the basketball fans of Seattle.

Having said that, I also can't help but feel for the city of Oklahoma. The Thunders have established themselves as a force in the NBA with Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook. I can't imagine the league without the Thunders. How am I going to rip the hearts out from the fans of OKC and relocate the Thunders to Seattle? Sure, some owner did it to Seattle years ago, but we don't need a repeat scenario especially not when the Thunders are a force in the league.

Why didn't someone in the offices of 2K strongly push for BOTH team expansion AND team relocation? What they have seemingly done is "half-butt" this feature so to speak, albeit an extraordinary feature.

Unfortunately, I don't see myself using the "team relocation" feature. I simply don't have the heart to crush the hearts of current establish team fanbase. Had a "team expansion" feature been implemented, you would be damn sure the Seattle Supersonics would be ADDED to the existing league leaving the Thunders intact exactly where they belong -- in OKC.

Just finished reading... my brain feels like mush.

Can't freaking wait for this game; I have a strong feeling that I will be much more into it this year.

Yeah, absolutely. The tools allow a crazy amount of customization. Create college teams or download/share them with others. It also lets you relocate teams right away and control all teams, so I don't see why not! So pumped!

With all due respect, there is nothing half-anything about this feature. I live in Mount Juliet, TN...which is near Nashville. Why would anyone want to have a team in Mount Juliet, TN? I think you are talking about about less than 1% of gamers, if that that would want to move a team to some random smaller city/town. I suppose they could have put this unrealistic feature in. On the unrealistic features thought, there are no plans for the NBA to expand anytime soon so would seem silly for 2k to do that. I agree with you on OKC and Seattle...I won't be moving OKC there. I may move the Kings there or something (which could have happened) and won't feel any sadness for the virtual polygon Kings' fans on the game in doing so if I do.

I'll be content with no offseason 4 2k16. I want the full off season experience in 17. That's the point of a OAL. Point of making my league n my gm. To experience how it feels managing a franchise. Managing a league. Thank u 4 adding half the experience but want the whole experience. Offseason and all

As a big association player this is all I need. I love everything that's been added especially the hoops summit now all I need is sept 25 to get here
