It's literally like the twilight zone in this forum

The same sentences typed over and again every year to the tee.

Now THAT is impressive

They look tighter to me. Maybe they just toned down the cloth physics on the shorts to get rid of the clipping issue. Either way it gives the illusion they are tighter.

That elbow wrinkle attention to detail though...

Now can we get attention to servers please? They only been awful like ten years. 😌

I don't know... this just isn't hyping me up.

Small details matter to a lot of people but if they don't to you that's great.
Agreed. The people who go out of their way to be so against accessories and shoes are weird to me.

If that was solid, I can understand why you would like most of these things to be like in real life, but with so much of the actual game far from perfect, I just hope 2k for once really goes all in on getting the best game possible on the court.
Here's a hint, one does not detract from the other. Just because detail is going into shoes doesn't mean attention isn't going towards gameplay.

I get why people want shoes and accessories to be correct. But I for myself see many things that need to be improved in this game and I'm always thinking maybe before they go into detail (accessories...) they should fix more general and gameplay things...

It's just really the lower body proportions in general... not just the shorts.

Someone who knows how to navigate this forum better than me:

Someone please find a post with these near-exact complaints about completely frivolous things, and paste it in a quote bubble here.

And then, in spoilers, reveal this was not said about 2K16, but actually 2K10 or something around that time.

That would awesomely illustrate 23's point. I'm serious. No sarcasm.

Also, any word on goggles and players taller than 7.2 ? I really miss the highlights after a game.
Thank you.

Pretty sure nba 2k split the work into different areas of focus to be more efficient in producing the game. I doubt Mike is putting his efforts into getting headband customization into 2k16.

Updating the socks, shoes and accessories does not take any time away from gameplay fixes. Somebody already said it: different teams with different jobs in the game.

This kind of statement and the explanation for it is literally on the page before your post. Or is this part of the problem with this part of OS? To hell with actually reading what's been said, gotta make sure MY opinion gets across.

OK put it this way once again

Art department = Visuals

Gameplay department = Gameplay

I can guarantee you Da Czar's department doesn't work on hair and teeth

You need both DUH

Incredible amount of detail right there. I can't believe they even implemented hardens tip toe gather. #salutetoyou2k

DakkoN I am very disappointed in this post man. Being a member of OS as long as you have you should know that things such as common sense have no place here.....................

I used to think the same way. Until I realized there are tons of people out there who think the exact same way about running plays, rim physics, player tendencies, etc.

There's levels to SimNation

Wow, the more accessories the better, and official ones at that. Team color socks. Awesome.

Good thing the art team and gameplay teams focus on TWO different things.
