1. 2003 San Antonio Spurs w/old robinson, prime Duncan, young tony parker, young Manu, stephen jackson, steve kerr, steve smith, bruce bowen, and a few others.

2. 2002 Nets w/Prime J.Kidd, richard jefferson, and others.

3. 2006 Heat w/ prime wade, old shaq, old mourning, old gary payton, young haslem, and others

4. 2007 Warriors w/ Baron davis, stephen jackson, monta ellis, and others

5. 2004 Pistons w/ Billups, prince, hamilton, wallaces, others.

6. 2005 Rockets w/ healthy TMac, Yao, battier, and others.

7. 2005 Suns w/ Nash, stoudemire, Marion, Grant hill, others.

While none of these teams would be certain, I'd be SHOCKED if the Pistons or Suns were snubbed. Those 2 teams are dead locks for 2k16 if the 2003 Mavs and 2000 Blazers made it.
IMO the 10 teams will be:

1. Detroit Pistons 2004
2. Phoenix Suns 2005
3. San Antonio Spurs 2003/2005
4. Los Angeles Lakers 2009
5. Houston Rockets 2007
6. Seattle Supersonics 2005/ Milwaukee Bucks 2001
7. Sacramento Kings 2002
8. Minnesota Timberwolves 2004
9. Indiana Pacers 2004
10. Miami Heat 2006/Olando Magic 2009

Especially with the Inclusion of Nash with the 02-03 Mavs and Rasheed of the 99-00 Trailblazers, You can not Include Sheed in the game without him being with the 03-04 Pistons when he actually won his first and only Ring!

I'm hoping for the 2005 Spurs team to be included. Long-haired Manu was an absolute beast that year.

I would love to see the 1999 Knicks in the game.

This is really exciting news!! I loved that team. Can't wait to see the rest of the teams.

I'd like to see them add a couple of more championship teams like:
75 Golden State
67 Sixers
77 Blazers
04 Pistons(as previously mentioned)
99/03/05/07 Spurs(at least one of them)
06 Heat

Here are some interesting non-championship teams I'd like to see them add:
94 or 98 Pacers(both teams were one game from the NBA Finals)
93 Suns(previously mentioned)
97 Rockets(the team with an over the hill Barkley)
88 Mavs(another team that was one win from the Finals)
90 Spurs(young David Robinson)
09 Cavs(probably Lebron's best Cavs team before he bolted to Miami)

I would like this too but they would have to add that 1999 Heat squad with Tim Hardaway, Mashburn, Mourning, Majerle and Pj Brown, I loved the rivalry between those two teams.

Haha, that was my exact first thought, too. They had Dale Davis, as well. Those early 2000 Trailblazers were loaded with has beens. They were fun teams.

Nope, neither of those was ever a superstar

I would love to see one of the late 90's early 2000's Timberwolves teams! KG, Spreewell, and Cassell would be fun to ball with.

They already have the 99 Spurs. I wouldn't mind prime Ginobli, though.

I agree on the Ginobili front. I think those current Spurs are close enough to twilight for a "beginning of an era" squad to make sense, from either '03 or '05. I guess '05 would catch those guys more in their prime than '03 though (when Speedy Claxton basically took over the reigns from Parker in the clincher).

Also, really splitting hairs, but they currently have a '98 Spurs team but not '99. All the primary suspects are there though, just missing a few fellers like Steve Kerr, Mario Elie, and Antonio Daniels. I always go back & forth on which squad I prefer ('98 or '99) because while '99 were the champions, it's one more year removed from David Robinson's prime, and I prefer being as close to peak-of-his-powers David Robinson as I can get.

Ahh yes you are correct. I think it'd be redundant to have 98 and 99. I'd rather have the 03 or 05 team like you said.

Still wish they could get one of those Kings team as well. I'd prefer it will J-Dubb at point.

12 new teams is a crazy amount. Can't wait to find out the rest.

I hope it's not just 2000's teams but some teams I would like to see
'67 76ers
'09 Lakers
'07 Spurs or '03 or '05
'77 Trail Blazers
'04 Pistons
'09 Cavaliers
'06 Heat

also I really hope Kareem is back in the game this year

Yeah and i'd prefer the 2001 kings team and bring back c-webb. Hopefully the ice will eventually break between the two parties.

Hope you like seeing Rick Barry with the WRONG free-throw animation.

(Why yes, that lack of an underhand free throw ever since 2K13 is a thorn in my side that I just can't calm down about. Why do you ask?)
