Madden NFL 16 News Post

The Madden NFL 16 EA Access trial is scheduled to arrive on August 20 and give subscribers 10 hours of gameplay.

With Rory McIlroy PGA TOUR and Battlefield Hardline setting the pace, it looks like 10 hour trials for EA Access subscribers will be the new standard.

If you are looking to get an Xbox One, Microsoft and EA Sports announced their Madden NFL 16 Xbox One bundle, a couple of weeks ago. It includes an Xbox One console with a 1TB hard drive, a full download of Madden NFL 16 and a one-year subscription to EA Access. You can pre-order on Amazon for $399.99, with a scheduled release date of August 18.

Would you rather have a demo, with 2 teams and 5 min quarters? That sounds better than 10 hours with the full game?

EA Access is worth every penny just for the games in the Vault. These early trials are just icing on the cake...it's like getting to play it at an event or something, for 10 whole hours. Except you have full access to everything.

Way to go EA? You bet your @$$! The only people who complain about this program are the people who hate EA regardless of what they do. 10 hours is actually quite a bit of time. Even if you blow through it all in one day, you still get to play it early.

What are you talking about? For years EA had a 3-day early access pass. The game was limited as far as how deep you could go into it, but I could play it all weekend long and in some cases I could actually play it until that Tuesday.

10 hours is weak. I would have saved my money if I knew this from the beginning.

If you signed up for EA Access, without knowing how it works, that's your fault. the information has been out there since day 1 a year ago.

The money your paying is more for the Vault than anything. Once a game that you owned hits the vault, you can trade it in and get some money. Getting preview time is just a bonus.

I actually own no games for my xb1 because of this. Most everything is from the vault or digital download.

I would say, that with the number of people who are getting the early access through the Xbox, which with microsofts connection to EA, it should be obvious they would have exclusives between each other, all madden fans will have a plethora of game play videos to watch and be able to examine the game, pre-release; all those 10 hours of game play will add up..

There are many dedicated Madden game play makers who pump out great videos with very unbiased commentary..

I did yearly because I got battlefield in the vault I play. Dragon Age is in there now and Star Wars Battlefront will have a trial through EA access as well.

Unless this is something you know that is new for 16....

You could use those hours after release date for 15.... my trial time was still there in May.
