This is a completely unnecessary comment.

I expect posts like this in the Madden forum but not here.

I'm also still waiting for your answer to this question because I know for a fact one of the two of you has and it's not you:

One question for you....have you ever worked with or spoken with anyone at Tiburon regarding their Golf titles?

Give the context in which the question was asked, you don't need to work at Tiburon to understand how animation works and how those things are built. My uncle is an animator for Disney and have seen the process first hand. But I digress.

Doesn't excuse the options given to us, or lack there of.

If youre going to be upset about that comment I made, then you should possess the same disdain for his statement regarding some personal agenda that I have.

I agree, two wrongs dont make a right.

Without using the word agenda are you not also accusing him of the same thing?

I understand that. As a result, what are they doing as a development team to try to overcome these unfortunate deficiencies?

As mentioned a game like NBA 2k has tons of small player likeness traits, like the ways a player dribbles or shoots. While I have read that some of this is mo-capped directly from the player, they cannot mo-cap every player in the league. So how are they getting this in the game? I assume they bring in other non-professional/local basketball players to mimic these movements.

Why isn't this development team or EA trying to do this? They are in a warm weather environment, and can't bring in some local golfers to try to mimic these swings/stances or even a set of different generic swing types? I would have to think many local golfers would love the opportunity to do it for free, just for the experience. I know you are connected with them, does this happen or is it possible moving forward to suggest this if it does not already happen?

Just overall disappointing that two years of development time has produced this kind of game, no matter how small the dev team is. In the end, the final product does the talking, and this is no where near good enough.

This site should just be called Operation Complain About Sports Games.

EA SPORTS GOLF IDEA

Alright guys here's my idea: While it would be difficult to get every single golfer on each global tour (PGA, PGA China Euro Tour, PGA Canada) to agree to be on the game. EA could create a big golf player franchise similar to ultimate team in Fifa games. Similar to Fifa, hundreds of thousands of players from tours all over the world would be created into the online game. Each would be given particular stats for each part of their individual golf game. Similar to Futhead their could be a whole new website just for golfers created in the game. There would be informs (for whoever won/played well on every global tour for a particular week), Players of the year and players of the week. Just like in ultimate team there would be online matches between individuals where they could gain coins, sell players, buy players, trade players, and wager players. Stats would be improved and updated for each golfer as they progress. I don't know how this would work but maybe you could only have a certain limit of golfers to play with.
