Theyve already lost me....again....unless a swell of a new info comes out on CCM and its not just things making the game easier for casual gamers.
My thing is will this game be worth the money? Or am I gonna be happier just spending $20-30 on 15 and playing that. Can't decide based on what I've read..
This trailer really did nothing for me. Long QB sleeves still look terrible, drop backs are terrible, and did they really get rid of Nantz and Simms?! Also, why dont they focus more on the gear and player appearances rather than what 2 guys in the game that have tattoos now? And lastly, I HATE that they put that catch in the game! Just like the Tyree catch, thats a once in a lifetime catch! Why would you put that in the game?! Like we're ever going to see that exact catch again...I'm pretty disappointed in this, and I'll pry end up getting Batman to hold me over till 2k or Live come out.
Probably not. They used Larry Ridley (the guy who did last year's halftime show) for the trailer. It was probably easier for them to get Ridley to record the trailer than get Nantz and Simms.

I'd pay 30 bucks more for all of the improvements. Especially given the fact that there are no penalties in 15.
I'll never understand why they (EA) can't add the 2 bars that go down on Alford Morris helmet type!!! They had it on NCAA football, what's the problem?
Some people will always hate. To me this year the improvement are so much more to the sim and gameplay players rather than gimmicks to sell the game. And still here we are complaining. Personally I'm really hyped. Hopefully the game does deliver as they described on the blogs.
Not gonna get hysterical or anything, but I honestly expected a bit more than this. I'm a realist, I know what Madden is. Still, I can't help but feel underwhelmed...especially after Rex's comments a few days ago. It is what it is.
Rex's comments were more about the blogs today, not E3.
I am definitely very optimistic. This is as positive I have felt about the game in years. I am definitely needing to see on screen gameplay footage. When do they open up the booths for people? Tomorrow?

I'll complain about stuff still not there yet BUT I'm pretty happy overall from what I've seen so far.
Well not complain but give input constructively
You can see from the developer blogs that theu are trying to focus on more realism..
With that said, they still have not found a way to fix the clunky animation system and locomotion.
For this game to look and feel fresh, they need to completely re-write the animation system for movement. This game needs to animate as smoothy in motion as PES soccer, FIFA, NBA 2K etc...
When that happens, all these other nice additions should look a lot better.
Two Key things for Madden to turn the corner:
1. All new locomotion and player movement sytem.(This includes a complete re-write to player movement AND the way they animate in motion)
2. Player Specific Traits and Animations- Madden needs to adapt the NBA 2K player differentiation system (badges) and add thousands of player specific animations for ALL positions on the field.
The animation and movement system has been the glaring weakness since 06'. If they can figure that out we may be on our way to a great football game again.
