Bought this for the PS4, as you can never have enough baseball games. So far so good - def improved over last year, and feels like a good combo of retro baseball with a modern flare -

I'm planning to download this tonight for the Xbox One. Can someone tell me if there is ANY player movement at all within the multiple season mode? I'd love to play some seasons and I just feel that it would get really stale with the same players every single year.

Have you noticed any diving plays in the field? I'm on game 2, and can't figure out what the dive button is on classic or modern controls on manual. Unless its just an automatic event that happens.

Haven't delved that far into it yet - getting ready to jump back on, and I will edit my post

EDIT - I have no idea, feel like I've tried everything

I'm thinking it just might be automatic, based on the fielders ratings or happens during assisted fielding? I can't remember if there was a button for dive/jump last year?

EDIT:
There was no dive/jump button in the game last year, but it was automatic I think depending on the play/player. I just played one inning from last year, saw two diving plays, one jump.
I've seen a few dives now and a jump in '15 so it is there.

The stadiums look great I played a couple of games had a little bit of trouble hitting but overall it plays a fun game of baseball. I think the game itself looks better then last years the players look better at least the builds. I like that we have a full 40 man roster.

Can someone give me an idea of what multiple season play is like? Is there a draft? Player progression?

I played a quick 3 in game last night and it plays like RBI baseball. I'm on the PS4 if anyone wants to look me up for a online game dray7805. I think it will be a fun game overall.

Fun game. Lost 9-7 in 10 innings for first game. Judging fly balls is tough. I put fielding on assisted for now. Gave up a 6 run inning because of it. lol

It's a definite improvement over last year. The breaking balls break more and fool the hitter. I saw a diving short stop as well who in turn made a 4-6-3 double play. I've played 18 innings so far and I've won 5-3 and the second one I walloped the Cubs 11-3.

A 2 questions for those that have the game.

1. Does it have Editing and Creation Options? Meaning Players, Sliders and Create A Player?

2. Is it just Season Mode?

No creation options. Just Easy/Medium/Hard

Exhibition/Season/Online

It's a $20 game people. C'mon. It's not going to have all of that stuff. It's worth the money if it just plays halfway decent and is fun.

I don't have the game but I did hear there is an option in the game to turn on a static landing indicator to help out with fielding fly balls.

For those who have the game is there an option for 'short' seasons? In other words, less than 162 games?

There options for an 81 or 52 game season...

Overall impressions of the game are pretty good. Graphics are fine, it has a season mode, and 40 man rosters.

I can do without some of the sound effects. Just because it's an "arcade game" do we need the silly sound effects to prove it? How about an option to turn them off?

-CPU will not tag up runners on deep fly balls.
-Lots of balls hit in the alley that only end up as singles.
-Looked at my league stats and noticed that Wainwright for St. Louis was 2-0 even though he has 1 appearance which was his start against me in the opener.
-CPU pitcher doesn't bunt in obvious situations
-CPU yanks starters way too early

Yes, I know the game was only $20, but even the casual baseball fan knows simple basic strategy. Just because it's an "arcade game" I would think the devs could nail the simple stuff down. I'd be completely satisfied if the strategy element was here.
