I think if you took 100 AB with Trout and 100 with a pitcher, you would see a large difference. It would be further amplified with the difficulty turned up.

Excellent. Thanks MLB! Just started playing in High CPU difficulty. Hopefully you guys can take a look at some of the AI issues.

I am seeing issue with left bumper (xbo) only advancing lead runner. Noticed if I have man on third and hit a long ball that should be double. RB will advance lead runner to third but batter holds up at first.

When can we expect roster updates to come out, and how often? Want to play with kimbrel on the padres

Enjoying the game so far....love the fast game speed...taking me a while to learn how to hit. My only complaints are base running and advancing runners although I think I just need to play the game so more. Very happy to have a current baseball game on Xbox! Will be doing a quick season here on the Xbox One as well as with one with MLB 2K13 roster updates from JMC on the 360. Happy Times!

Wish there was a Fonzi double thumbs up to give on this post.

Pre-release of console versions, they said "shortly after Opening Day" which to me sounded like a day or two after. This week, however, they've been more vague ("coming soon"), so who knows.

My guess is that it'll be closer to the PC release, which is April 30th.

I played my first three games last night and had some quick observations:

1. In three games, I never walked anyone.
2. I noticed a number of balls hit to the wall that ended up in singles for the CPU. They were not aggressive enough.
3. I stink at hitting. In my three games, I struck 21,16 and 21 times.
4. Pitcher velocity drops really fast. By the fourth inning, I don't think the pitchers could hit 90 MPH when they were 95 in the first inning and the slow pitches were in the mid 60 MPH range.

Don't let the walk numbers bother you. This isn't a walking game. It is a pitch, hit game. Old school NES games we never worried about walks. Similar style.

I save the walks for sim type games.

I guess "shortly after Opening Day" does not mean "the week of Opening Day" for the mobile release. Hopefully that extra time is being used to fix the bugs being reported.

I'm pretty far along in my season so far so I have played a lot of games. Overall, I love the game but would like to point out a few bugs, not in spite but to help the developers out.

1. lineup bug--In about 4 games so far, after I modified the lineup in the pre game menu the lineup would completely mess up during the game. I had some players get skipped and one guy bat in 2 different lineup spots. This is the most frequent and annoying bug I have seen.

2. scoreboard bug-- Sometimes, inbetween innings, the scoreboard shows the wrong score. Not a huge deal bc it doesn't mess up gameplay but just pointing it out.

3. The where is the ball? Bug--- This has happened 3 times in the minor form and one time that was just crazy. Sometimes if the ball is thrown away, the camera does not follow the ball and it is impossible to get the ball. Sometimes I can find it by moving around but often times the computer will run around the bases before I can find the ball. One specific time, the ball went through the outfield fence and literally kept going. It was the weirdest thing. You could see some rendering of a city at first but then it turned all blue. I was hitting at the time and got an inside the park home run.

There are a few other things such as the phantom tag and the pitcher's inability to cover first base but the ones listed above are the main bugs I've seen.

I love the game and hope that theses bugs can be fixed

There is a patch on the way to fix some roster stability issues. The first roster update will come shortly after the patch is available to consumers.

Thanks for the feedback. This patch will address issues specific to roster stability. We will continue to evaluate all other customer feedback.

Yeah, the pitchers do fatigue way too fast.

RBI's twitter account just posted that they are approved for the App Store, so the game should be up in the next hour or so. It was going to be an immediate purchase for me, but I may wait a day or so and read some impressions of the iOS version. It'd be nice if some of the bugs from the console versions have been fixed, but I'm not counting on it.

And of course, 8 hours later the game still isn't available.
