I'm not sure how anyone (not you) could take offense to that. It was in the same context in which Aaron Rodgers used it... basically, don't have an embolism, everything will be fine, lol.
This being said, if I remember correctly, some of the early guys had retail copies about a week or 2 early last year, meaning the game had to be done and polished about 3 weeks or so before launch.... So if pattern repeats, I imagine SCEA will be done with this in about 2-3 weeks. Won't be long before we see retail copies floating around the usual suspects.
It would be great if that one dev streamed the game like he did last year.
I think the lighting and new real equipment will do wonder for me with this game. It has felt stale for me for a couple years. Hopefully they can fix the player models in the next couple years. Some players have that stretch Armstrong torso going.
Two things: does anyone know if the crowd sounds have been revamped? Because last year whenever I got a walk-off hit or a walkoff homer the crowd was not very loud or excited. This also goes for other big moments during a home game. Also one more thing: does anybody know how many home plate celebrations there are? I know the one in the trailer is new (puig jumping into his teammates) but there must be more than just that one right? Thanks in advance.

I'm guessing those questions will have to be answered when they have the presentation twitch.
Can confirm that the infield dirt in Safeco has never looked like that to me. It seems like they've selected the shade of the warning track dirt to be the infield dirt shade as well.
C'mon Knight... if you know you are under a NDA and can't say anything, why even tease? Is it really that fun holding some special knowledge over the rest of our heads?
Or do you like building strawmen that much?
Seriously though, I'd like to think we are all friends here (or at least equals) and can freely speak our minds about what we like and dislike. I just don't like information being dangled above my head that is pulled away when I try to grab it.
I've only been here since 2009 and was just a lurker for the first couple of years, but I think others can vouch for my passion when it comes to The Show, whether its helping with the rosters, pitch edits, researching ratings or whatever (I mean, why do all that if you hate the game, right?). But then all of a sudden you say one thing and poof! All of that goodwill is gone.
So no hard feelings bud, I'll gladly take the snark. Now hurry up and get that recruitment thread up and running
For night games, is the sky completely dark now? There were always parts of the sky that looked like dusk even at 11pm.
What about this not being able to see the crowd at night thing? I didn't have the game on PS4 last year so I'm not sure what this was. But it has be concerned.
Now, they are teasing us a little bit because a few shots are of "morning times," but according to Russell we won't be able to select any hour. I wonder if there is a chance we can do that at some point in the future??
I think they mean more like a community that pretty much unanimously admires this game and is intent on buying it. We're just needy, not unappreciative.
Only on OS would a good trailer cause people to complain. Nice.
Point taken and it's a fair one based on some of the unjust/uninformed criticisms around these parts.
But, at the same time, a lot of the people who immediately jump at the throat of OS'ers who dare say something unflattering about MLBTS kind of miss the point about how technology has historically undergone improvement. Without feedback, constructive criticism, and recognition of limitations, this game would be only a fraction of what it is now. There's a reason that Russell_SCEA and various devs come here every day. And that's because this place is full of ideas--good and bad--and the bar is set very, very high for what's desired from a game. So, in a way people should thank their fellow OS'ers for expressing a spectrum of opinions, rather than being a simple echo chamber for SCEA, because this variety has undoubtedly led to improvements in everyone's favorite game.

Well when there is something to be "complained" about, regardless of how good the trailer is, then it deserves to be brought up, such as the infield dirt color in Safeco.
And only on OS would people "complain" about people "complaining."
