And THAT'S the key to every racing game!!! If people don't want to do that, then racing games probably just aren't for them.

It depends on the location. If you select tracks in Norway (for instance), with precipitation, it will be in the form of snow.

Completed all the DLC star challenges - between the main tour and DLC, Venom Hot Lap still remains to be the most challenging (IMO).

I really like this game but the one problem I have with it is having to do the grind /unlocks. I admittedly suck, I am 44 with a wife and 3 kids, one in lacrosse and swimming, the other in soccer and swimming and a newborn. I play in a hockey league and work 12.5 hour shifts. So I don';t really have the time to devote to running laps over and over on a track just to get the third star to be able to unlock more stuff. This is all just my opinion. I think that is why I am really looking forward to Project Cars, you can go into any discipline immediately, even if you suck! Like me! Anyway, really enjoy the game but once I completed the amatuer tour, it just got to difficult for me and I don't have the time I wish I did to devote to it. Just my .02 Great game overall!!!

You kind sir, are a beast! I'm so glad they didn't require all the stars for the platinum trophy... they could have really made this a difficult one!

You don't have to do the tour mode to unlock cars. You can do single event races or time trials with the track and settings of your choosing and still rank up and unlock cars.

Not trying to take nothing away from him but it's not that hard to beat all 315 challenges lol on Driveclub. Anyways if there any good driver out there that's all about winning I am looking for a replacement to join my "Grind Squad" club.

Alrighty then.

I just spent the last hour trying to knock out the last star in a drift challenge and didn't come within 1,000 points of it. Getting all of the stars in the Driveclub Tour would be an accomplishment for me. I'm nowhere close to that, though. Just having fun plugging away at the game whenever I get a chance.

# 97 Zboogie @ 12/18/14 09:09 PM
My tips for you brah. When you do those drift challenges just YouTube the ones you doing and watch those who completed it with all 3 stars. How ever they hit those turns you do them the same. That's how I got down a hour worth of drifting. Work smarter not harder ;-).

Be very light on the steering, and don't forget to counter-steer if needed. Also, depending on the vehicle, throttle control is key.

I agree with ThaSlab, sometimes just letting up on the throttle for a split second straights your car and allows you to control it better. Once you have gotten it under control you should be able to increase speed.
