I just installed the new update. The weather system is incredible. Two new tracks and a handful of improvements as well. Say what you will about the launch of this game, but as of now it's one of the best console racing games made. I'm now giving it a 10. Also later this month event pack, car park that will include a Corvette. All the info is on the Driveclub Facebook page.

I repurchased this game, they botched the launch but post launch has been outstanding. The weather update is insane.

Just noticed there's a new Ferrari in the hyper class. 599XX Evoluzione. Locked, online races only, bummer.

Is dynamic weather based on real geographical data or is it just random?

EDIT: The advanced weather system, which has also been called "dynamic weather", will depend on location and other settings like altitude.

Definitely going to switch the throttle to the right stick. Then I will be able to do manual transmission with R2 and L2.

This game needs to be reviewed again. It's a brand new experience now.

Yeah. I mapped the controls to the same layout I have for Forza 2. Find it easier to not have to worry about the controls when going from one game to the other.

Played a few games over the weekend (took a break playing this game with the flood of great games hitting the market the last couple of months) and had a blast with it.

Is this game worth buying? It started out so poorly, was waiting free psn version. Tempted to price match this at best buy in the b2g1 deal.
