KONAMI REVEALS PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER 2015
FULL LIST OF CLUB AND NATIONAL LICENSES, DAY ONE UPDATE

World’s greatest club competitions bolster PES 2015 license rosters;
Day one update adds roster updates, new kits, shoes and enhanced faces

Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. has revealed the full list of club and national licenses that will feature in the upcoming Pro Evolution Soccer®2015 (“PES 2015”) title – including second-tier teams for the first time and all Brazilian top-flight teams. The publisher also revealed the content of a comprehensive day one update file that adds key new elements to the game.

The cornerstone of PES 2015’s licensed content remains the world’s greatest club competitions - which are exclusive to the series. The game features dedicated modes featuring iconography and branding for Europe’s UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League competitions, while the South American Copa Libertadores returns alongside the new Copa Sudamericana tournament. Asia Champions League is featured once again, rounding off a stellar list of club competitions only available in PES. Each of these licenses represents club football at its highest level, perfectly synchronizing with PES 2015’s ‘The Pitch Is Ours’ mantra, where the game’s development has focused on ensuring the gameplay mimics the ebb and flow of real matches.

PES 2015 also introduces second-tier teams for the first time, with Spanish Liga Adelante represented in its entirety, as is the French Ligue 2. The team rosters have also been extended to English and Italian second-tier teams, albeit not in licensed form but with real players. These supplement the full Dutch Eredivisie, French Ligue 1, Spanish La Liga and Italian top-flight leagues, which are long-standing PES inclusions. The cream of European club sides are also licensed, and include pack star Mario Götze’s Bayern Munich; Portuguese giants FC Porto, Benfica and Sporting SP; and the likes of Anderlecht, Manchester United, Zenit St Petersberg, CSKA Moscow and Galatasaray.

The phenomenal growth of the South American leagues is also well represented, with KONAMI securing the full Argentine Primera Division and 21 Brazilian club teams with official kits.

KONAMI has also prepared a day one download for PES 2015, which will ensure that 93 new kits will appear authentically in the game, while eight (8) more licensed teams have been added including Sparta Praha, FK Partisan, and Maccabi Tel Aviv. Additionally, the Brazil league will have six of its teams (Santos, Internacional, Vasco da Gama, Vitoria, Criciuma, and Chapecoense) updated to include an additional 109 of the athlete’s real names. An additional digital download will be available in December that will add 11 of the athlete’s real names to the roster for Flamengo; the December update will also include yet more teams in other leagues and bolster the stadia roster for the current generation of gaming systems. The day one download will reflect all transfers and loans, and new boots from Puma and Nike will be added. Continuing KONAMI’s dedication to ensure the stars resemble and act like their real life counterparts, the day one update will include over 80 player feature updates as well.

PES 2015 is available now for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and the Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft for an SRP $59.99, and for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft for an SRP of $39.99. The PC (digital download version) will be available from November 13 for an SRP of $39.99, coinciding with the global Steam launch of the game.

I bought the game just now during lunch... after I said I wouldn't! Damn you Konami!

Definitely an interesting game. Offense and defense are balanced, and player movement and interaction is nicely done. Goalkeepers and their reaction times finally seem realistic. AI actions are very nice.

One thing I am not sure of. Do you have to manually control the fluid formations by changing them with the d pad or is it done for you automatically if this setting is turned on? Very cool feature.

No need to manually control them, they automatically change depending on if you have possession or not. You can change the style of fluid formation to defensive, offensive, or custom by the using the D-Pad. Each team can essentially have up to 6 different fluid/dynamic formations (9 if you count the Kick-Off formation).

Hey guys anyone here having issues getting the DAY 1 Pack from the code provided in the box? I entered the code through the PSN App but in game I don't get anything. Weird.

Finally was able to download it. Happy to say that the PC version still allows for importing of team emblems and kit sponsor images. I haven't played a game yet. I'm going to import a few BPL team emblems and make some kits before I get into it. Luckily I still have my files from last year so it shouldn't take me too long.

Pumped to get on the pitch but I need some real kits.

Passing accuracy is way too high, for both the USER and the CPU. The best teams should be in the mid 80s and the worst teams down around 70%. Instead pretty much every team is in the 80s with the best teams going 90% and above. Doesn't matter the difficulty either. I've been playing across 3 difficulties and am currently on the second highest "Top Player" and percentages are too high no matter what.

Combine this with the lack of fouls and it's like you're playing an exhibition game with a bunch of all star players. Kind of disappointed so far, as it doesn't really feel a lot like tough and competitive football.

On a side note, I tested out the "Destroyer" player ability by giving it to every midfielder and defender on Liverpool and it made minimal difference. Supposedly it will make players press and tackle more, and while it seemed to result in a few more slide tackles, the total foul count was still low.

Try setting passing assistance on low. I play with zero assistance and the game play experience is much better. I have also seen a lot of people mention the lack of fouls but I haven't experience this issue a lot. The ref is a bit strict but since I have started to figure out how to defend without harsh tackles I haven't been getting many yellow or red cards. In addition, I do get fouls too (although not as many as the CPU) but I it happens when you dribble.

A negative thing I noticed on PS4, I was in the round of 16 in the AFC champions league and up 5-4 on aggregate in the 2nd leg. I wanted to make sure I would go through so when they added 4 minutes of stoppage time I purposely wanted to waste time. I just held the ball in my own end and literally stood still and NO defenders even came to pressure me for a full 3 minutes. Finally they pressured me in the final minute of stoppage time. Konami should fix the sense of urgency logic in that regard.

On another note, my pc version is now downloading. I hope it ain't as bad as alot of people are making it out to be.

Yeah I've seen that too. I tried that with my leftback and they didn't pressure but in the middle of the pitch with a middie they were all on me.

I suspect there isn't a "down by 1 goal with 10 minutes left," cue for the CPU to change tactics. And how many teams even have all-out attack as one of their preset tactics?

That's for the user, it's not going to fix the CPU passing. There's rarely an errant pass by the CPU. Wigan should not be passing at an 89% rate.

Few to no fouls + almost perfect passing =/= realistic football.

Buyer's remorse has set in.

Officially waiting for a patch for this game. Fix this crap Konami.

I think the pass % is mostly a product of the CPU buildup speed being significantly slower that recent years, and more of a reliance on short passes.

In terms of unrealistic stats, and what I'm willing to put up with in a soccer game that is condensing a sport to 10-15 minutes per match, I'm okay with inflated pass %. Sometimes I wish there was a way to black out stats like that, so we don't have to obsess over them.

Fouls are tricky this year. There should be more, but at the same time I don't want the stupid slide tackles, ugly collisions, and dumb refs from last year.

No buyer's remorse for me on the ps4 version, but I just tried my PC version and it is frustrating the heck out of me. Where to start???

1. Yes, the graphics are pretty bad and bland. No detail at all and there doesn't seem to be a difference if you switch between low, medium, high or different resolutions.

2. The alt+enter to switch between full screen and windowed doesn't work.

3. The game plays very choppy. Almost like it's skipping frames. Tried using my game boosting tools, vsync on/off, etc... and doesn't make a difference. My pc should be plenty good to run this. 2014 ran with no problems.

It's a shame because the core gameplay is there from ps4. Gonna try a few more things to see if I can save it.

I just love this game, I was playing barci vs real Madrid on professional and maaaaannnnn it was a nail bitter. CR7 is a beast he was making crazy runs and just faking my guys out. He must have tooken 5 shots on goal and 2 found the back of the net. But what I really enjoyed was when I made it 3-2 the last 10 min was an all out assult. No build up just straight steam rolled me. Luckily I was able to hold them off. I'm just glad my gk did just enough to protect the net because bale and benzema and Ronaldo really had the defense on thier heals.

I just wish there was a way to transfer option files SMH. Aww well the amazing gameplay makes up for. Hopefully next year we will have it.

Ok, looks like I fixed my choppy game issue (PC). The gameplay is basically the same as ps4. I can't tell a difference. I also used a sweetfx mod and the graphics are much more colorful. Time to do some editing.
