KONAMI REVEALS PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER 2015
FULL LIST OF CLUB AND NATIONAL LICENSES, DAY ONE UPDATE

World’s greatest club competitions bolster PES 2015 license rosters;
Day one update adds roster updates, new kits, shoes and enhanced faces

Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. has revealed the full list of club and national licenses that will feature in the upcoming Pro Evolution Soccer®2015 (“PES 2015”) title – including second-tier teams for the first time and all Brazilian top-flight teams. The publisher also revealed the content of a comprehensive day one update file that adds key new elements to the game.

The cornerstone of PES 2015’s licensed content remains the world’s greatest club competitions - which are exclusive to the series. The game features dedicated modes featuring iconography and branding for Europe’s UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League competitions, while the South American Copa Libertadores returns alongside the new Copa Sudamericana tournament. Asia Champions League is featured once again, rounding off a stellar list of club competitions only available in PES. Each of these licenses represents club football at its highest level, perfectly synchronizing with PES 2015’s ‘The Pitch Is Ours’ mantra, where the game’s development has focused on ensuring the gameplay mimics the ebb and flow of real matches.

PES 2015 also introduces second-tier teams for the first time, with Spanish Liga Adelante represented in its entirety, as is the French Ligue 2. The team rosters have also been extended to English and Italian second-tier teams, albeit not in licensed form but with real players. These supplement the full Dutch Eredivisie, French Ligue 1, Spanish La Liga and Italian top-flight leagues, which are long-standing PES inclusions. The cream of European club sides are also licensed, and include pack star Mario Götze’s Bayern Munich; Portuguese giants FC Porto, Benfica and Sporting SP; and the likes of Anderlecht, Manchester United, Zenit St Petersberg, CSKA Moscow and Galatasaray.

The phenomenal growth of the South American leagues is also well represented, with KONAMI securing the full Argentine Primera Division and 21 Brazilian club teams with official kits.

KONAMI has also prepared a day one download for PES 2015, which will ensure that 93 new kits will appear authentically in the game, while eight (8) more licensed teams have been added including Sparta Praha, FK Partisan, and Maccabi Tel Aviv. Additionally, the Brazil league will have six of its teams (Santos, Internacional, Vasco da Gama, Vitoria, Criciuma, and Chapecoense) updated to include an additional 109 of the athlete’s real names. An additional digital download will be available in December that will add 11 of the athlete’s real names to the roster for Flamengo; the December update will also include yet more teams in other leagues and bolster the stadia roster for the current generation of gaming systems. The day one download will reflect all transfers and loans, and new boots from Puma and Nike will be added. Continuing KONAMI’s dedication to ensure the stars resemble and act like their real life counterparts, the day one update will include over 80 player feature updates as well.

PES 2015 is available now for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and the Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft for an SRP $59.99, and for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft for an SRP of $39.99. The PC (digital download version) will be available from November 13 for an SRP of $39.99, coinciding with the global Steam launch of the game.

It has practice games similar to Fifa, as well as open practice.

tried to lower the pass assists? I´m currently playing professional with one bar pass assist and its giving a great challenge! Its just not that easy, at least for me.

Yes, click pause, go to Users I believe, and then from there click on your opponents name and it brings up their gamertag. Mute from there and all done. I do this to everyone. I don't know why, but every time I play some from South or Central America it's just a constant wall of noise coming from their end and they all must have a bazillion kids or siblings screaming while they game.

Thanks but I tried that but I still find it a bit to easy for me. They intercept me alot more but I still manage to through ball quite a bit. Plus I find the goalies are a bit more tighter on top player. I used to play professional all the time in previous versions but this year it seems the cpu is looser so the through balls seem easier to me.

Thank you! And yes, the bold part is exactly what I'm talking about. I don't mind an opponent talking trash the entire time, but sometimes I think people leave their mics close to music speakers on purpose.

Nice. There's actually no open practice mode in the PS4/X1 versions of FIFA 15..just the last gen versions.

Ya, I never understand it when devs remove well liked features... And then stay silent about why it is was removed.

Finally got this year's edition of PES a couple of days ago and I'm glad that I actually have a good alternative to FIFA. I still own FIFA on the PS3 and have PES on PC (surpised my laptop can actually run it, not the best graphics obviously but I'm not worried about that as the gameplay's solid) and there will be some switching between the two - maybe play FIFA with friends - but PES takes the cake this year I think.

Even though they don't have the licenses, the representation isn't beautiful, and ML can't hold a candle to FIFA's Manager Mode, the gameplay just dominates FIFA. I'm willing to look past the low foul count and other problems just because this year's game recreates the old feeling that the series used to have. That feeling of 'one more game', even though you should be going to sleep. You have to wake up early tomorrow.

The licenses don't bother me that much either. On PC that can be patched, and I'm more of an Eredivisie player anyway.

I don't know why but I actually like ML a lot. I haven't tried this years FIFA MM, but I think for those of us who have played PES over the years all the way back to the ISS days we have learned to love ML due to it's simplicity. Players progress well, youngsters are fun to develop, and who doesn't like buying a 17 year old Drogba and dominating?

I am really looking forward to ML as well. I always pick a random team and start out with the original ML line up (fake names) and build from there. I have more fun with the mode than any other sports game.

Which difficulty you running with Merc?

Right now Top Player. Giving me good games. I started my ML with PSV with their normal squad as I'm a huge Memphis Depay fan.

Earlier today I was thinking that every game seems to be about one team holding possession and the other looking to counter, but then I had an amazing end to end match with Heerenveen against Zwolle. Instead of passing it around in midfield, Zwolle utilized long balls behind my high defensive line in order to create chances. Both teams hovered around 50% possession with about 10 shots each. Final score 2-3 to the away team (that's me).

This variety between matches, goals, players, teams... it's something that FIFA doesn't even come close to. I haven't faced PSV or Ajax yet, but against Feyenoord earlier in the season Boetius was a constant threat, and I had to find ways to keep him in check.

This game is great.

I´ve been thinking the exact same thing. Its like I have to learn the game in every single match, because they are feeling so diferent from each other!! Also, messing with tactics brings so much for this game! You can actually work on an all around tactic to use all the time, but on the pitch, you have to play diferent ways according to each opponent. Its not like any other PES were you build up almost the same way. In this field, they sure have made a hell of a job. Is this what Konami has been trying to do all these years? If so, well they have done it and are less then halfway for a perfect game.

About ML, I´m still editing team´s names so I still haven´t started one, but I do enjoy the simplicity that PES has always offered. Fifa is more complete without sacrificing simplicity, but what PES gives us is quite enough for me to have fun with.

I am going back down to Top Player. Just not a superstar yet.

Should I edit kits before starting ML? I'm guessing if I start ML now it'll only have the edited teams i've done so far..but I just wanna make sure.

You can edit things at any time that you like. I started my ML and edited the kits and team names over a couple of days.

Yep this year ML updates everything you edit outside the game mode.

So the game has been out for about two weeks now and I have put well over 100 matches in this game. I still really enjoy this game and still it is probably the most fun I am having with a sports game since MLB the Show released earlier this year. I will say I really hope they address fouls sooner than later because I am getting tired of seeing fouls and collisions on and off the ball not being called.

No shame in it as I tried superstar & was getting frustrated as the cpu felt like god's. I prefer top player seems the most fair & balanced to me. I used to always play professional in past years but this year I've settled on top player.
