KONAMI REVEALS PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER 2015
FULL LIST OF CLUB AND NATIONAL LICENSES, DAY ONE UPDATE

World’s greatest club competitions bolster PES 2015 license rosters;
Day one update adds roster updates, new kits, shoes and enhanced faces

Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. has revealed the full list of club and national licenses that will feature in the upcoming Pro Evolution Soccer®2015 (“PES 2015”) title – including second-tier teams for the first time and all Brazilian top-flight teams. The publisher also revealed the content of a comprehensive day one update file that adds key new elements to the game.

The cornerstone of PES 2015’s licensed content remains the world’s greatest club competitions - which are exclusive to the series. The game features dedicated modes featuring iconography and branding for Europe’s UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League competitions, while the South American Copa Libertadores returns alongside the new Copa Sudamericana tournament. Asia Champions League is featured once again, rounding off a stellar list of club competitions only available in PES. Each of these licenses represents club football at its highest level, perfectly synchronizing with PES 2015’s ‘The Pitch Is Ours’ mantra, where the game’s development has focused on ensuring the gameplay mimics the ebb and flow of real matches.

PES 2015 also introduces second-tier teams for the first time, with Spanish Liga Adelante represented in its entirety, as is the French Ligue 2. The team rosters have also been extended to English and Italian second-tier teams, albeit not in licensed form but with real players. These supplement the full Dutch Eredivisie, French Ligue 1, Spanish La Liga and Italian top-flight leagues, which are long-standing PES inclusions. The cream of European club sides are also licensed, and include pack star Mario Götze’s Bayern Munich; Portuguese giants FC Porto, Benfica and Sporting SP; and the likes of Anderlecht, Manchester United, Zenit St Petersberg, CSKA Moscow and Galatasaray.

The phenomenal growth of the South American leagues is also well represented, with KONAMI securing the full Argentine Primera Division and 21 Brazilian club teams with official kits.

KONAMI has also prepared a day one download for PES 2015, which will ensure that 93 new kits will appear authentically in the game, while eight (8) more licensed teams have been added including Sparta Praha, FK Partisan, and Maccabi Tel Aviv. Additionally, the Brazil league will have six of its teams (Santos, Internacional, Vasco da Gama, Vitoria, Criciuma, and Chapecoense) updated to include an additional 109 of the athlete’s real names. An additional digital download will be available in December that will add 11 of the athlete’s real names to the roster for Flamengo; the December update will also include yet more teams in other leagues and bolster the stadia roster for the current generation of gaming systems. The day one download will reflect all transfers and loans, and new boots from Puma and Nike will be added. Continuing KONAMI’s dedication to ensure the stars resemble and act like their real life counterparts, the day one update will include over 80 player feature updates as well.

PES 2015 is available now for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and the Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft for an SRP $59.99, and for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft for an SRP of $39.99. The PC (digital download version) will be available from November 13 for an SRP of $39.99, coinciding with the global Steam launch of the game.

I´ve been playing PES pc version for a while, and today I fired up the xbox1 version and I could notice a slight diference in gameplay, for better. I was enjoying some things in PC but on console, can´t really say why, I got the hang of the game better. It might be due to performance issues, lag input on PC maybe can´t really tell.

Game is growing on me, slowly. Still notice a couple things I don´t like, but it keeps giving me fun while getting used to it.

Vertical sync off in your video card control panel fixes input lag with PES games. Worked like a charm for me in PES 2014, am not having that issue with 2015.

- 17 stadiums. You're telling me they couldn't create a dozen fake stadiums of varying sizes and put them in the game?

- Of those 17 stadiums, you can only select 12 of them to assign to teams as their home stadium. Now here's the weird thing with that: the other 5 stadiums you can't assign, are FAKE STADIUMS. You can assign teams real stadiums but not 5 of the fake stadiums. Therefore it's not a licensing issue obviously. So what is it? It must be because they only had time to make 12 of the stadiums editable (mow pattern, seat color). Half-finished.

Still love the game though.

No denying that but that's a separate topic. I was just cautiously curious about differences in console versions but maybe I shouldn't press the matter too much.

Right now I'm having a lot of fun with what I have, even editing kits is really satisfying to me. Don't think I'm quite ready for the new game buzz to wear off.

I love MyClub vs COM.

That is all.

What's a separate topic? You asked for examples of how the game feels half-finished and I gave you one.

Yeah it is great but does the difficulty eventually go up from Regular or do I have to play more matches. Currently on a 10 game winning streak and I am starting to rotate my tean more so I won't waste my top players contracted days.

I was about to ask the same thing. I am on a four game win streak and was hoping the difficulty would increase after 5 wins in a row. Maybe you have to win an X number of games before it goes up? I will say it's fun scoring lots of goals on regular difficulty. When I have been playing superstar when offline.

Hmm I have to dig in this mode a little more there is a lot of information thrown at you but it is really deep. You can tell they put a lot more time into myClub than Master League.

What formation do you have btw?

4-2-3-1 I think.

Drogba is my striker with Goetze Ozil and Gammara behind him. Lahm is on my back line. I had to much team spirit (good players) so I had to sign a better manager.

Wow what a team, I haven't been that lucky. My best players are rated 84 (Ozil) and Silvio (78 RB). I'll play more later and hopefully I can get a better back line, need a Left Back and more Central defenders with height badly. Overall, I just need a better team lol, I officially benched Ozil until I get better players. No point in wasting up his contracted days and then have to turn around spend money to renew it.

Is there a way to tell how high the team spirit will go for a particular manager?

Not that I know of. If you find out let me know. I basically just rolled the dice with the new manager since his managerial skill was higher than my current one.

Graphically I'm honestly more than fine with what I have with PES 2015 after my SweetFX. Gameplay wise, for me, there's nothing that's totally frustrating(ie gamebreaking), IMO it's a few fine tunes away from being a virtually perfect gameplay experience.

I honestly don't think I could give up image importing even if I had a console to go to. But I'm definitely interested in hearing your opinion on it.
Let's see.... yes, the lack of stadiums, but that's across all platforms. What makes it worse is that they're taking out more each year. And why take out the stadium builder? There's no reason why a pc game can't fit that or a bunch of generic stadiums.

The graphics. It's like they purposely dumbed it down from last year. The textures are severely lacking in detail and kinda blurry even on high settings. The colors are very bland, but sweetfx has really helped.

Lack of cutscenes. Again no reason why a pc game can't fit that.

The game was poorly optimized for pc. I had to do alot of tweaking to my system to get it running smooth. My pc is pretty good too.

A minor thing, but why doesn't alt+enter to switch between full screen and windowed work??

All that being said, I've gotten into it more and really liking it. The kit editing is a thing of beauty.

I did the same thing but was just curious. Thank you.

Yeah Textures, especially grass textures seemed a bit funky. SweetFX fixed colors, helped with the grass and got rid of a sort of haze that blurred things up a bit. That was a day one fix for me. Lack of cut-scenes is definitely a head scratcher but I hear they're still in Champions League right? I guess I could let my imagination run with the idea that cut-scenes are reserved for special occasions. Are the cut-scenes in all competitions on the next gen consoles?

I was definitely disappointed that the stadium editor they hyped as making a big return "better than ever" was a flop. Like you said, that's an across the board issue so it's out of the scope of my question but that could have been huge, too bad.

I guess I've been lucky with optimization related stuff because it ran perfectly smooth for me from day one, and my system is a few years old. I wounder if my older card (Radeon 6850) has actually kept me away from certain driver related issues on newer cards.

Anyways, thanks for answering some of the questions, add me on steam if you want and we'll get a game in sometime.

Taken from the in-game help menu...

VS COM

Play against clubs created by other online users that are controlled by the COM. You will play a series of six matches, and if you earn more than ten points, your level increases. The higher your level, the stronger the teams you will face. The six matches will be comprised of 3 home games and 3 away games.

IMO, this feature isn't working right because I won a lot more than I have lost and I am still on the same difficulty. I hope we get more GP compensation.

Man the graphics on PC are absolutely hideous...but to be fair, I don't care in this game. First time I've had legit low scoring matches on 25-30min matches with a CPU that actually builds up to score and doesn't enable the cheat engine to go on unstoppable runs. I'm impressed.

I honestly don't understand this. IMO, the lighting in PES is far superior to FIFA, it's not close. The color palette as well is much more realistic and lifelike, as are the player animations. For me, all of this contributes to a much more pleasant viewing experience. When I play PES I feel for much of the time as if I'm participating in a real game, whereas FIFA always, always feels like I'm playing some cartoon version of football.

This is not a knock on FIFA, I have both games, and play and enjoy them equally.

Never mentioned FIFA, but the graphics on PES 2015 PC version are worse than PES 2014 as it stands right now because most of the high level effects do not seem to be functioning (such as Anti-Aliasing). Also, some of the faces are downright offensive, although it might be different in the PS4/Xbone versions.

See again, I was switching between PES 2014 and the PES 2015 demo for two days, trying to decide if I should buy PES 2015 full game. I finally did because it was just too jarring going back to playing 2014, the jittery animations made the game visually difficult to stomach after the life-like player animation smoothness of 2015. So I suppose for me it's not graphic "effects," it's about what I find pleasant to look at. For me, PES 2015 (PC) is about the most beautiful sports game I've ever played, other than the two minutes I played The Show a couple years back.
