NBA Live 15 News Post

The waiting is over.

EA Sports is planning to do a gameplay live stream of NBA Live 15 tonight on Twitch. An official time has not been announced yet, but it's likely the EA Sports NBA Twitter account will be where the announcement is made.

UPDATE: Looks like they are almost ready to start, tune in here or watch the embedded stream above, as it starts. Once the archive is available, we will update this post with a link to it.

UPDATE #2: If you missed the stream, you can watch the archive here.

Are you looking forward to our first look at NBA Live 15 gameplay?

Man they need to mute some audio, getting lots of echo feedback right now

Those shoulders on Korver

Pro difficulty... SMH. I'll say this for my SIM guys here... Turn up the gameplay to All-Star right off the bat. Help Defense, teammate AI, etc is so much better. Also, turn ON Automotion!

I still hate those ambient dribble animations

Still entirely TOO MUCH standing around going on. Just first observation. That and the movement still isn't very human looking.

The AI defense isn't looking that smart, though it could be the difficulty

Did like the run animation on that backdoor cut in the replay though. That looked smooth.

It needs to be on All-Star, and Auto-Motion definitely needs to be turned on. It's night and day.

Yeah, some of the animations look really smooth, but a lot of them look just like last year.

I actually really like what I'm seeing.

# 51 oldman @ 10/22/14 06:06 PM
It definitely looks like an improvement over last year.

Between funky animations and the fact that without the "quick action" button, there is no off ball movement......not to mention the complete lack of interior defense......good lord what am I watching???

What is automotion? Thanks

# 54 WTF @ 10/22/14 06:10 PM
Automotion automatically moves your players into a "motion type" of offense, based on where the ball is on the floor. It will cause cuts, screens, and numerous off ball movements without the need of calling a play.

Again, the reason you're seeing guys make it to the hole is because of Pro difficulty.

Looks like they added the ability to scroll through half-time segments, thats a nice addition. Hopefully these is a bit more variety in them than last year, but they had a solid foundation with that last year.

At times, I get a Live 14 vibe from the animation and AI, but overall I like the smoothness of everything, graphics are beautiful, and I think once I actually get to "feel" the game tomorrow I'll be able to make a solid decision. Definitely an improvement over last year.

Ehhh, the same thing was said last year and turning it on resulted in about a smidge more movement than when it was off.

ESPN camera angle is nice.

Animations are better but still have that Live wonkiness.

Think I won a free copy from that second question. I was definitely the first to answer

Didn't look like there were a lot of camera options there. I think I only saw like 4 or 5
