NBA Live 15 Will Have a Gameplay Livestream Tonight on Twitch

EA Sports is planning to do a gameplay live stream of NBA Live 15 tonight on Twitch. An official time has not been announced yet, but it's likely the EA Sports NBA Twitter account will be where the announcement is made.

UPDATE: Looks like they are almost ready to start, tune in here or watch the embedded stream above, as it starts. Once the archive is available, we will update this post with a link to it.

Damn! Game looks a LOT better than I was expecting, honestly. Can't wait to try the demo. If it plays as well as it looks then I may pick this one up if I can catch it on sale or on the cheap somewhere.

After watching the earlier stream of the devs playing, it put my mind at ease to keep my pre-order. All those things we keep wondering about like why don't they play on something higher than Pro or why is the Motion not turned on by default...typical video game players don't want that stuff. We're not who they cater these things to. You have to use a bit of your imagination to see what the game will be set up properly and honestly, I'm impressed with what I saw. I say this as someone who tried last year's demo for an hour and was disgusted a little bit.

The improvement is very apparent. I've always loved playing both basketball titles, they offer two different styles of basketball and I appreciate both but have always preferred Live (when it's on point like Live 05 and Live 10) when compared to the "stickiness" of the 2K brand of the game. I say that with nothing but respect for the other game but I feel like I'll finally have answered the question I wonder about when playing Live 10..."what would this game be like if they kept going with this vision?"

It's not there yet but I see enough Live 10 in this stream to make me a happy guy. Is it perfect? Far from it but graphics DO matter. It's why we buy $400 systems. And these graphics looked great, it looks like it plays a decent game of basketball and at the end of the day, there's very few sports where we get more than one title anymore. So in the ones we do, as long as you give me better than what Live 14 was, I'll support it. I hope EA leaves these guys alone long enough to let them see their vision through. You hope they learned from the Elite 11 change of direction but you never know. What I do know, is looking at the graphics and the ideas they have implemented, if given time, I think this engine will one day be more "next-gen" than the other game.

What stands out from the finals preview game is how electric the crowd is. Chilling feeling listening to the stream through headphones. Cpu ai though lacks the proper action in certain sequences when urgency was needed or just frozen on another play waiting for the shot clock to wind down. Look forward to trying out the demo on a higher difficulty and automotion turned on.

Very impressed! HUGE improvement from last year. Everything looks smooth. I think Live is finally back!!! Day 1 purchase!

Major step in right direction.. but im just not really impressed honestly. Will pick up game as i originally attended to, but on discount. Doesn't looks to be worth a full 60 for me. I like what i saw, but i'm still just underwhelmed. Anyways, congrats EA for getting your feet back in the doors. I'll get this, just not full price, wish you showed us pc gamers some love, cause everything i seen, most defiantly could run on a PC. Graphics look good, but not outstanding. I have to admit that i love the attention to detail with realistic stadiums, sounds, and floors. I think competition has just hit the BB market again. Next yr, should be huge for us BB sport fans.

Glad to hear some positive impressions. I loved Live 10 and if this has a similar feel I will gladly overlook some flaw as long as it plays a decent game of hoops.

Better yet why is auto motion even an option? It's almost like a football game not turning on tackling by default lol. Isn't motion the biggest part of basketball? I don't get how they thought having an option to turn defensive rotations & offensive off ball movement on or off was a good idea smh.

Looks like something a really good slider set from someone like Playmakers could fix....

Oh, wait. No siders. No edits.

Tonnes of gameplay flaws in the video. Base is there for a nice game at some point. People have been saing that for years though...

Will buy if they patch in sliders. If not, will likely give it a miss.

Players faaces look great, Deandre, lou williams, durant (body is off though).. some arent like raptors kyle lowery... more i watch it more i start digging the game

Just wait til you start playing.... it's tough to break away. Tico is Ticory posted a pic on twitter of Durant that is awesome. His scan looks great.

Yes, that just confirmed the AI end of game bug is STILL there...that is completely unnaceptable.

For those who didn't play LIVE 14...the cpu has no end game AI.

I.e. Down 3 they will take a 2 on the last shot.

Eight seconds left....they will run a play tha takes 20 seconds and not get a shot off.

WTF you have a direct line to the EA team...can you get them to fix the end of game AI bug immediately please. Biggest gamekiller in sports video game history and the vids today show it is still there.

If someone can let me know what time it happens in the archived stream, I will forward it to the right hands.

It was discussed at great length though, so it could be part of the day 1 patch refinements or a 1 off type of thing. Both end of game and end of shot clock awareness was vastly improved.

I've got to head to bed for the time being, 0500 comes early. Haha

Power dunking/ uninterruptible layup animations under the basket still look to be over powered again..seeing the CPU feast on it in streams

Yea that I didn't like either in most streams. I was excited for the RTP because I thought it alone would make it easier to protect the paint.

I'm convinced the day one patch isn't available yet...I think I see what the dev's worked on...the CPU has no answer whatsoever for forward crossovers...you can do them and get to the basket every time...

The defense is just awful right now...and a lot of this so because guys are learning how to play but I am definitely worried there aren't enough defensive counters available...and these games are on AS, I pray this is a DOP deal..
