NHL 15 Patch 1.04 Available Now, Full Details Included

The planned October content update for NHL 15 has arrived for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users. It includes the addition of OTP and the all new NHL entry draft. Unfortunately for OTP users, you can't play with friends, OTP is used for ranked matches.

According to quite a few users, the third jerseys don't appear to be in the game, but they are listed in the update.

UPDATE: According to djblue, if you download the latest roster update, you will see the third jerseys.

	Online Team Play Play online with up to ten players, locked to a single position using real-world rosters. These matches will be 5v5 ranked with AI controlled goalies. Be a GM - Rookie Draft For the first time in the NHL franchise, you will be put on the clock and feel the pressure like a real NHL GM. As they do at the NHL Entry Draft, you have three minutes to make a draft pick. If the pressure is too much, you can also call timeouts to extend the amount of time you have to make a draft pick or potentially negotiate a trade. You can make trades at any time during the draft. The CPU will also propose trades to each other and the user throughout the course of the draft.

So, i fired up my BeAGM to play some games post patch. I'm 16 games in, Jimmy Howard has started 14 of those games for me, yet in the pregame intros, they show him warming up with his season stats overlay.... all 0's across the board.

Did you change goalies on the screen right before you started a game? There is a bug that gives 0's across the board if you change goalies from that screen rather than your edit lines screen within the game.

Well, maybe that was it. I went into my edit lines screen right before starting the game, I didnt actually change anything, I just wanted to make sure Howard was starting because it had been a few days since Ive played the game.

I'm in the third period here, I'll try another game without going into that screen and see if that changes anything

EDIT: That seemed to solve it, you're right.

PLayed a couple of full games.

Definitely more organic. Puck is much looser. I scored on more types of plays. As I said, hitting still OP. Ill bump aggression back to 0. CPU still loves their spammed one timers from the slot.

The passing is 'more' manual. Its much better. Im even able to work it off the boards at angles. It seems to seperate the stars from the grinders. At full charge, passing is still far too slow. The puck has no zip.

Overall, Im very happy. This has a much better feel to it.

In GM mode, in the Box score, it now shows the total number of goals for the season ....instead of in game, for the players who've scored.

One more thing. The shooting mechanism seems much more responsive. Just scored on a redirect from Jagr after hitting the right stick that wouldnt have triggered a shooting animation before this update.

Im very pleased with this.

Pay closer attention to the scouting accuracy. The player in the video had McDavid scouted to Medium accuracy, so his potential is off.

I know I'm like a broken record but I am going to keep bringing it up until we get some closure on the issue. Without Edit Player and complete roster control the game is useless no matter what they add. Myself and so many others have it shelved until we know for sure whether or not this will be added. A simple yes or no answer so we can decide to go ahead with a season without it or trade it in. You have our money already so just answer it already. The questions been asked on multiple forums and on twitter and it gets passed over like the ugly girl at the dance. Please let us know.....and please no wise crack responses to this about how the question was answered already or how you know its not going to be added because it wasn't answered and anything else is just speculation. For the record I don't think were going to get it but damn it man answer the masses

Small thing, but with Tampa's third jersey, it is out of order (or it was when I went looking for it). I would expect the order of jerseys (when scrolling down) to be home -> away -> third(s) -> classic(s)/historical(s). When I went looking for Tampa's, for me it was home -> away -> previous home -> previous away -> third -> other classic(s)/historical(s).

I'll have to look again when I get a chance, and the other new thirds, too.

You mean box scores from the pause menu right? If they can update that surely they can update it to show on screen when someone scores.

It wasn't updated. The season goal totals always showed up in the summary since release date. There will be no fix for the in game updates this year. Nothing was touched in this aspect of the game, people just notice old things and think that they are new or improved.

1st game i played after the patch i ended up in a shootout. Guess what . . . . still had the coach feedback overlay issue . . would not go away just like before the patch. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Yeah, you can't go into edit lines or it does that for some reason.. just another bug I guess.
