The NBA 2K15 Online Experience Has Been An Avoidable Mess

Poll Results from this morning of users still having server related issues in NBA 2K15.

With the release of NBA 2K15, the team at 2K Sports and Visual Concepts promised a much improved experience when connecting online. After NBA 2K14 suffered with connectivity issues throughout most of the game's life cycle, we were told that 2K's top engineers had spent the entire NBA 2K15 development cycle working on network infrastructure. What has been delivered, at least so far, is nothing short of a disaster.

Attempts to connect to the 2K servers and to other users have been met with nothing but frustration through the first two weeks of the game's release. While the experience has been fraught with frustration, it has slowly began to improve over the last week.

However, major issues still persist.

You're the only numb skull who is saying it's fine. I'm no ****** player so don't compare me to one, I've played high school and college ball. Been playing 2K since NBA 2K. I'm neither crying nor bitching. I play competitively so I am not a causal player. Take your game off pro and you'll find out.

2k maybe will fix the servers for next year, here's why! Cause were FINALLY holding them accountable for the trash servers, it's very sad we've let a great game blind us from seeing and mentioning more how crappy these servers been for 7 years.

ha ha ha i agree ! all who are saying the gameplay sucks , really don't know anything about playing real basketball. you need to be patient and run real sets. you just don't come down every time and jack up shots hoping to make them.

remember Guys "ITS A VIDEO GAME" i do realize all the problems in the game , if you don't like it stop buying it! you keep getting pulled in and suckered in every year!

Defense is tight this year. Play online against me...i will show you what smother defense mean

....i did play against CPU a couple times...i trapped them and cause jump ball every time and then had to quit and play online w/ real human.

It never suck for me. I trap player to the point that they're frustrated. This dude keep using Rose online and I double team him to death forcing him to give up the ball to someone else that he doesn't know what to do with it. He quickly try to sub Rose out hoping i changed up the defensive plan.

Can someone PLEASE explain how you send messages to other players?? In 2k14 for PS3 you could see the players you played with online in the locker room section where your friends are also listed. That way you can keep track of who you played and message them for rematches or give friend invites. WHERE IS THIS FOR 2K15 on the PS4?? I see the locker room section but the players you recently played aren't listed there any longer.
