2K10 was the first basketball game from 2K that got me into 2K basketball. I was always a "Live guy". That video shows how far as gamers we have come. I can only imagine what 2K20 is going to look like!
That Video makes me sad...
What has happened to our NBA 2K we all know and love?
If I told you 5-10 years ago that most of the features that you know
and love would either be broken down or gone, that online would
have horrible servers and no leaderboards, that their top notch
presentation would be one of their biggest flaws and that the game
was being built around street ball in a park with created players...
What would you tell me?

That was excellent.
My roommates and I played hundreds of games of 2k2, I still remember firing up 2k7 for the first time on my new 360 and 2k11 was an all-time sports game classic. Great memories.

This video shows how spoiled we are. If we criticized games back then as much as we did now then we woudve hated those games. Can you imagine us talking about issues with sliding, animations, physics, clipping, contact (or lack thereof), shoes, accessories, or NO ROSTER UPDATES AT ALL back then?
Played and own all except 2k3.... I was over seas and had other things on my mind.
I remember playing nba 2k6 on my 360 for the first time and was amazed with the graphical leap over nba 2k6 on the xbox. Now I look at nba 2k13 on 360 and look how plain is haha yes we are a spoiled bunch.
You know what makes me really sad.
They took away the game 21. My family use to play that game ALL THE TIME!! I think it was 7 of us would pick our favorite players and go at it.
And the free throw shooting for the PS3 with the actually controller.
My favorite would have to be 2k11 or 2k12. Those were awesome!! I had a copy of the game at all my friends house.

I love this game.
Funny how even in these short clips, you can see where the sim steps in and steps off. The stretch from Xbox 2k6 to 360 2k8 was so good at the time. For those that didn't play last gen 2k14, you don't know what a leap the gameplay took in the two years between that game and 2k12.

I still have every copy. 2k on dreamcast all the way to 2k15 on ps4.

wow I my fav would be 2k and 2k12. Would love to see them re-release the original 2k but in current day graphics and game play. Like a nba 2k remastered ...
I just don't get how we are in the 3rd generation of Online Gaming and the server system for the largest basketball game being sold doesn't work? How the hell does something like that happen?

You really see the huge jump in graphics when the systems change.. crazy to think about but next gen will actually make current gen look bad.. I can't wait for that
Anyone knows if Shady00018 has some custom roster for ps4? Thanks
