Loved everything I heard, looks like both Live and 2k are a definite purchase this year for me.
Now if only I could get the freelance offense from 2k and the spacing from Live would be so amazing
More talk? Well I guess I'm impressed that when the players flex their muscles you can actually see them flexing. Scuffs on the floors are a nice touch as well....
To all Bball makers of the world.(Both games)
As much as I like Damian Lillard, he is not a high flying dunker. He is no Westbrooke or D Rose. Not saying he cant dunk but he shouldnt be flying over Centers(McGee) or any crowd of defenders.
And Leonard is way to happy in that video(jk). Very unrealistic.
No clipping though. What if this is actually true. Would be a nice base for next year in Live 16. Just dont go the Elite route.
You genuinely don't watch many blazers games if you think dame couldn't dunk over Mcgee
As excited as I am for this game, I'm tempering it with a realistic approach that it should be and sounds like it is better than 14 but not going to be some mindblowing game. The natural feeling for many is to take hype for something and internalize it to some very high expectations and I know I can do this, myself. I just want this game to look like it actually belongs on my PS4 and be fun to play.
explain to me how westbrook traveled he jab stepped and crossed back left before he ever moved his pivot foot... soooo im confused sir
Look at it again good sir... Its a travel. His pivot is the left foot. It comes up before he starts to dribble. A move that Iman Shumpert gets called for a lot. You can probably get away with it in street ball but this is NBA LIVE not STREET.

I watched it over and your right.... It wasn't a travel lol...
Finally watched the vid. Have to say it's raised my expectations for the game. There were some weird "video game" moments, but mostly everything looked good. And all the talk about the way the game feels appeals to me more than how it looks(which it looks pretty good from what I've seen).
this is what i was waiting to see, i cant afford to have both games, so i think this year i will be getting Live instead, mainly reason was the fact one, he said the realism that you could here in the game, i really thought i heard and seen it, with some of the other release's. I know the Cav's Court and every Court will have the accurate meaning behind it. And The commentary, over 2 hours with no repeat ? hmn thats very interesting to me.
My questions how ever, and i apologize if this has been looked over. As far as custom Rosters, will this year version have that option? to actually recreate 1985 or 1998 etc?
Will this game have pre-legends in this years games, Teams to play?
Allstar Weekend? in or out?
Gm Mode? Rise To Star how does this work? Most importantly Can you play Sim Ball ?
Wonder how long it took them to remember the key words to advertise.. locomotion, physics, passing, player movement. Come'on this preview was so controlled by EA, Ill wait for previews by people who does not have EA in the room looking at them play the game.
locomotion, physics, passing and player movement are keywords that need to be practiced before being used to describe a sports game that incorporates locomotion, physics and passing?.. TRUE.

The 'no clipping' is strictly for the in-air collision animations. There's plenty of clipping while running around the court.

I'll speak for myself, because I'm the black dude in the video that doesn't even work at GT or have any journalistic agenda:
That's my goddamn vocab you're talking about. Don't try to put me in a box, bro. We sat down before hitting record and just figured out what the main 3 topics were that we were gonna talk about: Motion, Presentation, and Fun Factor. You know why? Because all we had to play was Practice and Quick game. I can't make any promises about anything, really, but especially not any of the other modes that they may or may not have. All I know is that the game felt like a great step in the right direction FOR EA.
I'm not saying they're closing in quickly on 2K. I'm a 2K fanboy for the most part (since about 2K3), but if that was a preview (and not Review) build that was probably a month old, then I think I'd be able to sit down with this and actually have fun. In the next 5 years, if they don't screw up big time, they might be neck-and-neck. Maybe 4 years.
