Also those are my two most hated teams.
As a Rockets fan...I agree with you on this one.

Why is flopping still a game mechanic? Don't you get fined for that in the real NBA?

Its a TV spot. When was the last time a Commercial for a game took a deep dive, and got in depth? That just doesnt happen.

Outrage over the fact that ...gasp.. teens and kids play sports videogames? Oh the horror. Meanwhile most of you starting playing sports videogames as a kid yet somehow 2K should just ignore this demographic right?

Newflash, everyone who plays these sports game isn't a jaded late 20s to 30 something adult male

Once again its a TV SPOT, NOT A GAMEPLAY TRAILER. If you dont know the difference by now then just find a new hobby.

I have no problem with this commercial. Its just a damn commercial. Are they not supposed to make commercials now?

Then I'm seeing blog post saying "I WANT MY F******* ARENA" and comments cussing out the devs while trying to tell them how to do their jobs (as if you were a dev) Really?

There is a difference between constructive criticism and just spewing nonsense like the blog post mentioned.

You arent going to get everything you want in a game, but lets not act like these people didnt add a whole hell of alot of things that people asked for.

Also, it was mentioned that there were still features that are going to make NBA2K16 that didnt make 2k15. So can you relax and stop acting like Aholes please? lol

Try to find some enjoyment in the game, if you cant do that and you are so anal about something as harmless as a TV Spot, then its time to reevaluate this gaming thing you do in your spare time.
I'm just quoting this so that people can read it twice. 😈

Because its fun to just fall to the ground and take a little rest when you're playing your friends

Countless? You get a handful of The Dumbs commenting and it turns into countless? One person says, "what does that mean" and 10 people fill them in. And if we were to use YouTube comments as a gauge for general intelligence, we would have a national crisis of stupidity on our hands.

I would have LOVED to have seen that. Replace one of the kids with this and the commercial is the GOAT!

EVERY marketing scheme is targeted to the masses! Always have been and always will be. If you are winning a marketing department, do you think you succeed by targeting the smaller part of your base? It's a commercial. No commercial in history has ever targeted the OS type of audience. Seems disingenuous to single out the 2k marketing team in that regard. Not saying you are, because you're clearly not. Just saying for those that are.

I'm 21 year olds and I enjoyed this hell we got grown men getting views off this stuff on youtube there is no age limit on this... Im sorry im not someone who doesn't sit here and play myleague or association because im a onliner gamer I love playing games online yes I enjoy myplayer a lot so if that makes me or anyone else less of a gamer or a "hardcore" gamer for 2k then so be it.
Wow. That was tough to read. But, I think I agree with you.

But it's still part of the game and the NBA didn't make them remove it. Life goes on.

Seems there was more to that commercial than people thought.

I don't understand what people are getting upset about. It's a TV spot. Something to tease an upcoming product. It wasn't made for people who play simulation basketball and multiple seasons. It's not something that's supposed to provide inside information about a game.
Take it for what it is instead.

Why are they dumb for not knowing what it is? Not everybody plays
that mode and knows what the appeal of it is. People are saying it has
something to do with the Park but it's an arena.

It appears the commercial created more confusion than anticipation
which I'm sure it wasn't intended to do but at least people are talking
about it. The games out in just over a week no more cryptic messages.

Stop giving us the lettuce and tomatoes and give us the meat

Yeah, it's a step in the right direction. Wondering if it's only 2v2 or can we get a 5v5. That'll be cool, but hopefully we have the full crew next year.

Some people are complaining waaay too much especially for something like this which is marketing. I personally like 2k's marketing because they leave a lot of hints and clues subliminally sort of like a rapper does with their bars. I mean this commercial should basically confirm that you'll be able to play in arenas...this isn't the first clue. Look at the cover shot...It has the parks in the foreground with the arena in the background and it seems as though they wanted to emphasize the arena with how the lights are shining out of it. This commercial basically confirms what they've been showing on the cover. Maybe you can use myplayers and then intertwine real NBA players...maybe there is some kind of progression from the blacktops into the arenas...I don't know. You can tell that your myplayers will be able to compete in arenas and that there will be some kind of customized jerseys/logos (Durant's top + the end of Momentus trailer). But I don't think people need to panic and jump to assumptions/rants based on something like this.

People aren't seeing the biggest thing here. We just witnessed The Secret of The Ooze in that trailer. Tokka and Rahzar live. They were just trying to figure out who to call mama. 2K is really TGRI

Oh 2k, you are such a tease. Like it love it or hate it, their marketing strategy has everyone talking, so props to them for that. I really would like to be excited after seeing the commercial, but I don't want to get my hopes up either. I will reserve my judgement about crew/park mode until we have the 100% full picture this year.

Think of it like real life where you and your 4 friends go up against another group of friends. It gets competitive and intense. Having it in a arena with refs cuts down on steal spamming and gives you the atmosphere of being in bunch of tons of fans.

That tc spot meant absolutely zero and it will have cost them money to produce too.
The fact that you need a demo after 2K turning the corner with 2K11, SMH. You don't need a demo from 2K, the gameplay is great every year. Now with LIVE, yea there should be a demo.
