I know, it's brutal. Everyone wants the easy gameplay, nobody likes to work for anything it seems. If EA even gave manual players more xp and coins or something, that would sway people to play all manual ... I cant believe that they give us manual players nothing for playing against overpowered auto players. Needs to be changed imo. Also, for the game to be more realistic you have to give the human more control over what theyre doing, so really, manual is the way to go anyway.

One thing I would like to see in the future is a little more dynamic weather.

I mean, if it's raining, it's like a monsoon, with water flying up from the pitch with every step you take. I figured something like dynamic weather would be too much on old gen, but I thought it was something we would see on PS4/XB1.

It would be nice to maybe play a game where it's raining pretty hard at the beginning, slows down by halftime, and towards the end of the game, the sun is peaking out.

Or add clouds. So the sun might go away for a few minutes, come back out, etc.

Yes, I totally agree and have been thinking the same thing. Why does it never stop snowing or raining? Or why is it never in or out, or at least start mid game or at some random point.

I believe they anounced that but its not in the game. I also believe it was mainly due to time limitations. I bet it´ll come included in the next year. Some racing games are already using it, I think it's horizon 2? It is possible in this Gen, they just didn´t do it yet.

It might also be some marketing option. This way they have something new to announce next year, like its the biggest deal ever... I mean, Last (current) Gen didn´t even had rainy weather in some editions of PES and I think also on some Fifa? You think the console wasn´t good enough? They just chose to make something else.

The patch for PS4 is out now!

I've seen it all now. Newer crazy things I'm noticing:

- I saw it last year, but it's bad this year. You charge a shot or pass, and if it's a pass, he takes 2-4 extra steps making just enough time for a defender to get in the way, or even your player changes directions in his route. If it's a shot, he takes 2-4 extra steps, just long enough for a defender to catch up and get a leg on it. Unreal.

- Players slow down on full sprint while they still have quite a bit of sprint energy left for no reason other than to let the cpu catch up.

- Hitting posts and crossbars feels completely manufactured this year, and not like a missed opportunity. I hit a crossbar or post, not only is it dumb when it's a soft lob header and it makes a huge thud sound, but it looks absolutely ridiculous. I never feel "oh, I just missed that".

Sorry to keep complaining guys, but if this stuff isnt brought to the forefront EA will never know we're catching on to their b.s.

Hello, FIFA fans.

You may have noticed that the first post-launch title update for FIFA 15 is now available on the PS4.

This update addresses issues that you, the FIFA community, have brought to our attention and includes the following:

• Fixed ‘search-by-name’ functionality in Career Mode.
• Added the latency indicator to FIFA 15 Ultimate Team so fans can view health of connection before entering an online match.
• Improved set-piece cameras in Online Seasons for Guest players.
• Corrected home crowds in Match Day Live matches.
• Fixed occurrences where the player would be unable to progress at the end of a FUT match due to the post-match menus not appearing.
• Fix to hospitality upgrades in Career Mode and Pro Clubs.
• Addressed exploit where players could infinitely switch kick-takers on set-pieces
• Fixed occurrence where changes to the Subs and/or Reserves are not brought into Season matches

Still enjoying the game, but still irritated by so many foolish occurrences in it.

The contextual commentating is terrible. Late winners in a league game are greeted with "That's stopped the game going into extra time." Er, no it hasn't. Also being told that the opposition goalkeeper had gone up for a late corner when they were still standing on their own goal line.

They seem to have done away with the introductory pieces at the start of the match. When my team (Nottingham Forest) played against their local rivals Derby County, there'd be a piece about the history of the fixture. That's gone now.

The number of time one of my CPU players just runs headlong into the player I'm controlling, meaning I lose the ball, is incredible. Also, goalkeepers are seriously dumb. Headers and long shots loop over them and it's very easy now to just run round them and score, something I could never do in 14.

Some things are better though. It's good that the CPU actually fouls you now, and gets punished for it. I hardly had any penalties in 14 but am getting a much more realistic amount now.

I guess, as a career mode player, my overarching feeling is of frustration. This game could be sensational with a few tweaks and improvements, but EA don't want to know.

I pray that one day they fix the injury time clock. I don't care if it is 5 minutes everytime or not I just want to see a running clock. I can't tell you how many times I've been trailing in injury time and working my @ss off to get the ball back. The second I win it back the whistle goes. Everytime!

I started to notice today on free kicks that when CPU players forming the barrier keep moving out of position the referee stops the match and awards a yellow card to one of them . Nice detail by EA! It happened twice already.

This game has flaws that people insist in coment on, but it has so many other great features!

I do that all the time to the AI. I'll risk getting a yellow card. It is R1 on PS4 to move the wall forward. L2 & R2 to move it side to side.

Ugh...this game plays "on rails" worse than ever! It's nauseating that EA continues year after year, DECADE after decade developing the same freaking game.

Someone please explain why: when I'm running clearly in a distinct direction towards a loose ball, why my player would magically run the other direction...away from the ball?! Totally unprovoked by me as I don't change the direction of the thumbstick.

It's a true shame because it would be a pleasure to play and look. But it's worse than ever and just complete junk.

Hmm, that´s strange because I don´t remember seeing that in my matches, or at least I haven´t noticed it yet. Might be something about the assitance setings?

Yea idk. I haven't changed any settings and only played 2 games online seasons. It's an issue that's always plagued this series. When the computer already determines you will not get the ball, even though you're in position. ..it'll divert you just enough at the end to make sure you don't get the ball. Even though the entire time you're player clearly would and should have gotten there first

Apart from the bugs and obvious issues is there anyone else who would consider the player models and animations (especially noticeable on close-ups) a weakness of FIFA? Think they really need some work for future versions of the game..

# 497 zanner @ 10/18/14 10:08 AM
I've played way too many hours of Fifa over the years manager mode and Ultimate Team, and this year is no different.

This is a pretty good game almost great. The presentation is improved and animations improvement alone makes this a better game than past fifas. The general atmosphere adds to the gameplay in my opinion and so this makes the game great.

The added tactics makes this game good, when I go all out attack I feel like there's a noticeable change in my team pushing forward much better than in past, and in the same sense when the cpu does it I feel good when there's an open space leading to a breakaway goal which we see happen in real life. This is good almost great .

Overall I'm addicted to the game, I love playing it but here are things where the game is bad bordering very bad.

First is cpu ai of teammates this year I think is a downgrade from even last year. They're useless and a liability and the player switch makes this a bigger issue. The teammates make stupid runs or non existent runs and on defense they'll turn and run the other direction of an attacking player for no rhyme or reason. On offense crosses or corners it infuriates me to see 2 or 3 of my midfielders charging into the box on a clearance. An example is this morning my CAM has a headed ball coming down right at his feet right outside the box and instead of trapping it he ridiculously sprints into the penalty area not even aware of the ball. What makes matters worse is my left midfielder is doing the same. It's that senseless stuff that makes this game borderline horrible.

Despite what people claim, The game is scripted. After scoring a goal the ball is going to bounce to opponents feet, they'll move like mess I, pass like iniesta and my coy teammates are going to pile in box and get stuck in mud. The only way to stop the next two possessions after scoring is to pray they miss the goal or the keeper makes an amazing stop.

Which leads to goals in 43-45 and 88-90 minute periods. Face it , it will happen whether it's you scoring or coy scoring to tie or take the lead. At least it's somewhat fair in that regard but it's cheap and bad.

The last thing that plays a part in cheap comeback goals is that your keeper will parry an easy shot right in front of the goal and your defender will watch an opposing player run past them for easy goal.

Physics are improved, I think. I say I think because the ball bouncies more realistically if you pay no attention to fifty fifty balls bouncing to a cpu opponent more often than not. On top of this I feel cheated when the cpu is sprinting three men and practically run through someone like sissoko like he's 140 pounds meanwhile there seems to be a force field around the same 140 lb player that almost freezes my guy to a stop.

So in short my impression is that I'm pot committed to fifa and love player and think the game overall is good or else I wouldn't play as much as I have; however, they're about one more year of not fixing these horrible aspects of gameplay from me walking away because it's absolutely mind boggling that these stupid acts have happened the past three years and nothing is done to at least make them somewhat tolerable or less frequent.

So I just bought this game yesterday(PS4)and I have yet to be able to get a game in because of the game constantly stuttering. Anybody else have this issue because I couldn't do anything including changing the settings with the game lagging/stuttering on me?

# 499 zanner @ 10/19/14 09:11 AM
One thing I forgot that is a huge plus this year is penalties are now called And cpu will commit fouls.

you have to disable a pcnp (or something similar) in your PS4 settings.
