NBA Live 14 Roster Update Available Now - Does Not Include Rookies

EA Sports has released a roster update for NBA Live 14. It includes the offseason moves, but none of the rookies were included. Based off of first glance, it doesn't appear as though any jersey numbers were updated. LeBron James is still wearing 6 and Kevin Love is wearing 42.

Big player names have been moved to their appropriate teams, even some of the most recent transactions are in.

Leandro Barbosa with the Warriors.
Shawn Marion with the Cavs.
Not seeing Jared Dudley on the Bucks, he's still on the Clippers roster.
Kendall Marshall with the Bucks.
Cartier Martin with the Pistons.
Quincy Acy and Travis Outlaw with the Knicks.
Mike Miller with the Cavs.
Mo Williams with the Wolves.

How they going to do a roster update and not take players off the inactive list.I would like to play with Melo, or D Rose online but can't because they are still on the injured list. Man come on EA smh...

That shouldn't be happening. We're working on fixing it.

Assuming no one listen to podcast on nlsc months ago.

Still horrible roster update. Why does it take me 5minutes to get an up to date roster? Sad.

This is cool but their ratings guy needs help. Steph curry has a 59 free throw. Dirk has a 99 mid range. Countless people are better at shooting threes than mid range. Rondo is a better mid range shooter than curry. Derrick rose has a 58 mid range. If they are gonna have these terrible ratings they need to give us roster customization

Does everyone notice the gameplay changed after the update?! I found the shooting and moving are more responsive! The contact in pain is better ! Even I think the color is more saturated!

Assuming your on the PS4 right??? reason i ask is i have noticed a big difference between the 2 consoles, Xbox one version seems to have better colours and movement........ or is it just me

Yup! I'm here.

Looks like we had an error on Curry. Nice catch. We'll fix it if we decide to get an update with rookies out.

A lot of those ratings were driven straight from Synergy data. Which provided some interesting results. I don't remember exactly but, Dirk was supposed to be like 115 on the scale for mid. obviously, it doesn't go that high.

Rondo posted some better than expected numbers and the data for Rose wasn't strong. Looking at how FIBA went for Rose, it's not a wildly inaccurate number.

Also, the scale for 3pt and mid is different. A 99 3pt could be 50% while a 99 in mid could be a 65%. So, direct comparisons don't work.

Anyways, we'll be changing up the approach for '15.

During the season, I'll be reading feedback and sometimes, actively soliciting it to help get ratings to a better more agreeable place. I can't wait for the season to get here so we could get this started.

I know not everyone will agree on where the numbers will fall but, hopefully, you'll understand.

And even moreso, I hope you'll stay engaged with Live.
