NLSC has posted episode 95 of their podcast, this week features the return of Leftos to the show with a goldmine of information! In depth info on MyGM and MyLEAGUE as well as insights on what it's been like to work on the NBA 2K development team.

Some key points within the podcast include:
  • New pro scouting feature.
  • How the progression system has been changed.
  • A new in-season training system in MyGM and MyLEAGUE.
  • No more CPU Position Stacking.
  • Storylines for draft picks in MyLEAGUE and MyGM.
  • A number of legacy issues related to free agency fixed.
Official Description text: "Leftos was also able to give us a great deal of information on MyGM and MyLEAGUE in NBA 2K15, expanding on some recent blogs and interviews, and letting us know about a few things that haven’t been talked about too much. In addition to explaining the basic features and differences between the two modes, Leftos gives us some in-depth insight into player progression and regression, the injury system, customisation options, and much, much more."

The podcast is a weighty 2.5 hour listen, but it's definitely worth it if you want in-depth info on this year's game.

Listen to the podcast at the NLSC.

Already clarified that yes, they are.

Man, sounds like there was a lot of info in the podcast. I just wish there was a summary or recap about the podcast information. I'd prefer to read about it rather than listen for 2.5 hours.

Can we edit headbands and headband color this year? In past versions the assigned head band colors haven't been ideal.

Just an option for White, Black, Team Color 1, Team Color 2 as with other accessories is all we need.

Leftos, love the information about the game; but can the Pistons please get some love on the uniforms. They have been off since last year.

How long do we have to wait, until freaking 2k20??

Also, how is it that 3-team trades were in before but now all of a sudden are not?? Instead we get all of these side additions like scanning your face, shoes and what have you. I will never understand why games go for quantity (games modes and options, fiba, classic teams) but then forget the quality (leave things out or not letting us change generic players on classic teams) to the point where it's just not right.
Yea the 3 team trades really puzzles me. That's something that's very essiential in the NBA and plus it was something that was in the previous games. Hopefully we can get a patch for it. Veteran minimum is also a must.

It may not be ideal, but I'd say a nice quick fix for the 6th man issue is to just make a badge for it...something along the lines of if the player isnt a certain overall rating higher than the next best at his position hes automatically a high usage 6th man in cpu made rotations.

Player A is rated a 79 overall and has the 6th man badge

Player B is a 76 and does not

So when CPUs make their lineups player B will start with player A getting heavy minutes off the bench...

but if its a large disparity, say 85 vs 76, the guy with the badge will be more likely to start

I obviously dont know what all goes into CPU teams rotation building this year like whether they take individual skills into consideration of just overall, but this would be a simple easy way to get those players on the bench in their proper role.

I'm hopeful that the coach bench usage sliders will be able to impact this atleast to some extent.

I'm still hoping we can get word on if headbands are editable and if their colors can be changed.
