(Seriously, those Bulls jerseys are HORRENDOUS )

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed.

They got the Bulls jerseys so right last gen. I can't believe they didn't fix them this year.

And simultaneously did not put them on James Worthy who wore them all the time if I'm not mistaken.

Exactly. I excused it last year since it was the first 2K game for this gen, but there's no excuse for it this year.

My guess is this...

Art team member 1: "What can we do to make Hakeem stand out"

Art team member 2: "Let's give him goggles"

Art team member 1: "BRILLIANT!"

Art team member 3: "shouldn't we check our sources?"

All three of em: "NAH"

then they LOLOLOL'd all the way to the bank....

the end

2k's art team lol. I'm not shocked by anything they do(or don't do most of the time lol). I think we should all know by now when it comes to details(accessories/uniforms/shoes/players), once it's done it's done. Almost seems like a "it's good enough" or "it's close enough to me" approach."(though I hate to say that)

What's bad about it is, if I can look up a certain player on Google to see what he was wearing in a particular season (which is what I do when I set up classic teams EVERY year), why can't 2K do it, especially when they have a whole team of people who can do it?

YES!. Please 2k's art team take notice of our feedbacks. Not only are those that you alluded to are messed up, but so are classic arenas. I just want the Chicago Stadium and other classic arenas to look authentic and accurate. Its hard to run with the Bulls while looking at that court like that.

They forgot "What if the Memphis Grizzlies had drafted Steph Curry or James Harden with the #2 pick in the 2009 draft...instead of HASHEEM THABEET!!" Sorry, as a Memphian, that one still stings

I think everyone needs to chill with the "Jordan is WAY too skinny", "Jordan was so much bigger", etc etc.. Jordan was skinny his entire career up until he left for baseball, and then upon his return for the 2nd three peat he was still by no means a big muscled up guy...

Sure he was cut, most NBA players are, but some of y'all are making it out like he should be built like Dwight or something.

Only marginally bigger than Reggie, who's one of the skinniest guys I've ever watched.

An example of the PC mod's art work from NLSC:

I would love to see 2k hire these guys to do their art work as soon as possible.

Sorry, bro, MJ was noticeably bigger than Reggie.

No, he wasn't Karl Malone-sized, but his latter years with the Bulls, he was bulkier than he was in the early 90s, and definitely bigger than he was in the 80s. 2K14 current gen (and now it seems 2K15) has him too skinny on the 96 and 98 Bulls teams.

I'm well aware he's too skinny in 2k, I'm just saying it's not anywhere near as bad as people are making it out to be.

Players bodies should look like that player's body. Uniforms should look just like the real life unis. Arenas should look like the real life arenas.

It really shouldn't be that hard.

You could say this about every video game out there. It really must be that hard.

Yes.

If anyone could do it, why haven't you?

Nope, but I wonder if they ever read these boards. I've never seen any art guys from either basketball company on any of these forums. It's a shame there's no direct communication.

Thing is, 2K has gotten it right in the past. Just look at 2K12 thru 2K14 (only reason I don't mention 2K11 is because for some reason, 2K decided to give the 96 and 98 Bulls teams extra long shorts).

It's not so hard as hiring a staff that's obsessive in terms of attention to detail. Sometimes art directors just can't quality control that much art content-- especially if they or the artists are not actually fans and if the assignments are outsourced, say, overseas.

Things can be missed-- but missing on Jordan, that's hard to accept. It's likely the legends were less of a priority. Also it seems next gen 2K may not have a body type that fits him perfectly (they don't have a ripped body type), but the one that Iggy is using might be a better fit.
