Besides all of the well chronicled modes that are missing, I can't believe all of the minor omissions and errors. I feel like all of the effort went into presentation with the hope of interface QC squeezed in as time permitted. The actual game play, graphics and presentation are superb. However, the game lacks substance.

This game is like having a super hot girl friend that is a complete air head.. Lots of fun to look at but not worth spending time with.

Wanted to know if someone could check this out for good ol Tomba?

Do Adboards change per stadium in the full game ? The demo did not when it was the Rangers and Kings at their stadiums.

No, they never have. You get the same board advertisements in every stadium and same on ice advertisements as well.

If EA does change them over the course of the year they have always been universal in being changed and will remain the same in every building.

One of the best parts about the old PC versions of the NHL games, custom everything.

Really? poke check doesn't work at all online, literally goes through or animates or does nothing. AI coverage is awful and leave you in valurable positions esp in front of the net.

It's a shame, because the poke check and slot/crease coverage both work fine on the Xbox 360. It's only the PS4/Xbox One versions that have these two problems.

Like someone mentioned earlier in this thread, I think the fact that they took out the "tractor beam" tie-up animations in front of the net for the PS4/Xbox One has really hurt the defense's ability to cover the crease/slot. Without being able to use the old tie-up mechanic as a crutch, the defensive AI and the ability for sticks to clip through bodies/skates when receiving a pass or taking a shot have really been exposed for the serious flaws that they are.

Just played another game and playing on classic view has just improved my game so much well I was up 3-2 with 32 seconds left and Chara jumped up and caught a clearing puck by me and got it back behind the net to Lucic who hit a gliding Patrice B for the game tying goal so we are head to overtime boys and I hope the Habs can pull it off !

But the most amazing thing about them tying it up it wasnt in Baa7serker mode as losing a lead never felt so good and what amazing AI and gameplay in NHL 15

I hope Carey can get the ghost of Saint Patrick to shut down those big bad bruins

Just saw a goal disallowed, reviewed, and called a good goal. Thought they might have taken that out.

2 on 1s NEED to be addressed.

Quite frankly, a 2 on 1 should produce a very solid scoring chance almost every time, but the AI is so dumb when you're on a 2 on 1, you're often forced to just go it alone and try to get around the defender by yourself.

Do you believe in miracles ? just after killing a Penalty PK came out of the box and the mechanic hit him on a long pass and I put it where your Mama hides the peanut butter ! habs beat bruins

There are just so many little subtle things I notice in this game that I might just start a EA NHL 15 " Little Things " thread and I love all the new goalie animations

Here is the play I was talking about the other day that happened to me.

The Caps bum rush my goalie and take him out of the net, unbeknownst to me, and then get a goal from their efforts lol.

You might have to watch it a few times to see it happen, but Johansson crashes into Fleury and puts him nearly into the no play zone as Ovechkin slaps it into the open net from near the blue line. No penalty called and the goal stood as a good goal.

Here is a video that I took of something that has happened way too many times (more than once would be too many) over the years in the NHL series.

This defies nearly all logic and most physics, yet EA seems to think it is a real thing and happens often in hockey.

Not to mention my shoddy AI teammates. I am controlling Craig Adams #27 who is not even pictured on screen. I followed the high trailer into the slot to take away the most potent scoring area. My computer defense both chased behind the net to be the second man in on a tie-up situation and then Letang #58 gets left alone and beat to the net for some reason when Martin #7 has already taken himself out of position.

So essentially what we have is a 2 on 3 for Dallas that results in a goal, from below the goal line and actually on the boards while being pinned.

And this happens quite often, not always a goal, but often where the CPU has the ability to kick the puck back into the slot for a scoring pass setup play.

Not to mention my goalie, Fleury #29, why he ever comes far enough off of the post on that play and gets beat to the short side is beyond me.

I just got the full game today after playing the demo every chance I got. I've always been a VS. player and I have to say that there's little for me to complain about. I would be playing right now if my left thumb didn't hurt from playing 6 consecutive games.

The only thing that disappoints me at the moment is the lack of goal replays at the end of the game. The amount of enjoyment I get from playing each game makes up for it.

It sure does play sweet but they seemed to add a few different replays to when you score in game really cool with different angles so maybe they toned the end of the game to be more like a NBC broadcast ?

I cant remember if NBC shows them all at the end but I know when its a OT goal they end the game fast and go to Network programming if time is a issue .

By all means vote with your wallet but theres just to much broken record stuff going on here from many who dont even have the finished game ?
( Remember the salem witch trials ?).

Im no EA supporter and they totally screwed up the PR but EA NHL has created a great base to build upon for many years with NHL 15 so I get what they were doing especially with their limitations producing it .
But the game is what it is and it plays a amazing game of NHL Hockey BEST EVER once you find your skill level and its not easy but AlTitos sliders are a great base !
Totally agree with bolded comments. Game is a blast to play and EA has a solid base to build upon. However, with all the missing features full price isn't justified IMO. I get the time restraints and lack of manpower helped cause skimping on features but full price? I'll wait for price drop. Given they didn't release next gen title last year it makes me wonder a little bit why they didn't have enough time to put out a finished product. Kinda reminds me of NBA Live but Live's gameplay was a disgrace while NHL gameplay is spot on with a good set of sliders

What's with the glitchy strategy boxes? They will stay in the bottom of the screen for the entire game.

Hey guys how is the entry into the offensive zone this year? By the looks of the Demo and gameplay videos I've watched it looks as easy as ever. That was going to be my one big hang up on purchasing the game this year. So if it hasn't been fixed or can be fixed via sliders than it'sa no go for me. Thanks

Exactly the same as the last ___ many NHL games by EA, no pressure along the boards and an easy entry every time.

Sliders do not help with it either. The AI will give up the blue line with ease 97/100 entries.
