Welcome to the 2014 PS4 O.S. Open Championship

We at Operation Sports are thrilled to bring the 1st annual Operation Sports Open Championship to be played at OS Hills. The tournament will consist of four rounds, and the individual with the lowest total score overall after all four rounds are completed, will be declared the winner. We appreciate your participation, and look forward to a wonderful event.

Each round will consist of 18 holes, and the winner with the lowest score of all four rounds combined will have his/her choice of a free game for any platform with a value of $60.00 or less. If there is any discrepancy in regards to the final outcome, the Administrator of Operation Sports will have the final ruling.

We would like to wish all who participate, good luck!

First of all, thanks OS for putting this on. You guys are really bringing out the best of what this game has to offer. Secondly, I am +1 after the first round and feeling confident going into the second round. Good luck, guys!

when I logged back in to play Round 2, I didn't have the option to Continue in the upper left corner (where it normally says TEE OFF)

Is this right?

I'm so confused.

It should give you the option since this is in tour format. There should be no stipulation at all of having to play all 4 rounds at once

I played early this morning, around 8am EST and shot +7. I played the Show, ran errands and came back to play Round 2 and wasn't given the option to "Continue" in the upper left hand corner where it says "TEE OFF"

I know when I was doing the Test Tour it was allowing me to Continue whenever I re-started the game.

EDIT: Ok, played through the 2nd Round and it totaled everything up. I shot +4 in round 2 so I'm currently at +11 for the tournament. Mid pack

Ok sitting on the tee at hole, my first round.....wing at 5 mph, I can deal with that. Beats the 17 mph winds last night haha

Wish me well!!

Maybe I'll try this. When I goto the tour it says continue but it starts as round 1. I'll try later myself.

Finished -8 through the Tournament. What fun! I assumed the leaderboards were accurate, so I knew I had to make up a stroke on jettachrome and josh1982 on the last three holes to sneak into a tie for 1st. Pulled a birdie putt on 17 - just snuck off the right edge of the cup. Ugh.

Arrrggghh, was under par and got stuck in the rocks at 14. Ended up with a 10 on the hole.

I'm about to sign in now, but the tour says one day. Do we have to complete all 4 rounds by tomorrow?

Scratch that. I apparently didn't play the actual tour..sucks..just played the first and second rounds and am sitting at +23?!?! Worst two rounds I've shot on this game...easily. Good luck, gents. I am completely out of this thing now

I never played any practice rounds on the course before hand so just went in swinging. Shot a +12 for the first round as I did struggle. Saw one to many bunkers which hurt. Will play my second round soon. Still had fun with it overall.

Just played all four rounds and ended the tournament at -19. I think I'm in the lead for now. The course is tough from tee to green, but the greens are really flat. It's easy to make birdies here if you can manage to get on the green in regulation.

Thanks for putting this tournament together. Hopefully it's not the last!

Uggggh that 14th hole is a killer.......triple bogey!!

SOB!

Well, now I don't feel so bad for those missed birdie putts I had during the 4 rounds. (I was tied for the lead after all 4 rounds earlier today.)

Who shot a -19 for the tournament? That's incredible.

I was hot on the greens and I was able to avoid making the big numbers. I also lucked out with the wind. It never got above 8 mph while I played. No chance I could have posted something that low with the 15-20 mph winds that some of the other people had. I started pretty average but once I realized I should stop aiming for the pin and go for the center of the green I was able to make a lot more birdies.
