OS Hills Tournament - Presented By Operation Sports

Welcome to the 2014 PS4 O.S. Open Championship

We at Operation Sports are thrilled to bring the 1^st annual Operation Sports Open Championship to be played at OS Hills. The tournament will consist of four rounds, and the individual with the lowest total score overall after all four rounds are completed, will be declared the winner. We appreciate your participation, and look forward to a wonderful event.

Each round will consist of 18 holes, and the winner with the lowest score of all four rounds combined will have his/her choice of a free game for any platform with a value of $60.00 or less. If there is any discrepancy in regards to the final outcome, the Administrator of Operation Sports will have the final ruling.

We would like to wish all who participate, good luck!

I got booted from the servers during a round last night where I was doing OK, hanging around even par. Somewhere on these boards I thought I saw someone mention that you can pick up a round where you left off before you got disconnected from the servers. I hope this is the case, as I was really in a groove.

tournament doesn't show up in my search - anyone else? (sorry saw it's a tour not a tournament)

also I'm shanking all my drives now, I feel like the game was patched to be harder? crazy difficult on my drives now

It's actualyl under TOURS, search for OPERATION SPORTS and it will show up.

finished up Round 4 at +14 for the round and +26 for the tournament.

I played with 15mph winds, which just makes this course near impossible to score on.

Every round winds between 11-14 mph, frustrating, but was surprised the course could be had with those winds, I was clean until I bogeyed either 13 and 14 or 14 and 15 whichever is the long par 3 (which could use a larger green Mr. Architect, lol) was the first hole I bogeyed.

It's not a glitch since it's set up as a tour and not a tournament.

It's a 4 event tour that has 1 round each event so it's going to say round 1 the whole time.

You may be right, but that still doesn't make much sense if they set it up that way. To me, this plays like a 4 day tournament w/ a cumulative score of all 4 days. That's a single, 4 day "Tournament", not a 4 event "Tour".

A tour, to me, would be different events or tournaments set up at least once a week for an indefinite amount of time (multiple weeks/months/etc).

When we ran the test tours, it did the same thing. It's always going to keep an aggregate score for the duration of a tour, no matter how many rounds each tourney has on the tour. The tour will have a leaderboard that shows wins, top 10's, and top 20's.

doing the LGGT tour week one right now and its keeping the event scores and round by round maybe because first course is 4 rounds and second course is 4 rounds as well

Yeah when we ran the 2 round 3 event tour, it worked and tracked like it should per event, but still had an aggregate for all 6 rounds on the rate tour screen I believe.

Round 1 = -1
Round 2 = +3
Round 3 = +16
Round 4 = +1

Start off by saying I had fun in this tournament. I was one of the unfortunate ones who had to endure 13-16 mph winds. First two rounds were okay, because the winds were mostly at my back or in my face. Round three I had what seemed like a constant side wind. I fell apart early and decided to use the rest of the round to test clubs. (I was able to find my way behind two trees and one yardage marker.) Round four I started +7 after five holes with the same 16 mph wind. I decided to pause it and return when my mind was in a better place. Came back and found the wind died down to 4 mph. The rest of the round I went -6. I wonder what my scores would have been like without the crazy wind.

Congrats to whoever emerges as the winner. Much thanks to bluengold34_OS and OS for putting this tourney together. I'm looking forward to the fun that lies ahead.

You should though.
I hit +25 on my first go around...
Learn the corners and when to go for it ...when to hang back and you can easily keep it to +5(not that ...that's great...but it's not +25!)

Plus...it's a really great course!

I had a power outage only a few holes in but my score was SO BAD at that point I didn't even bother jumping back in to try and save the round. But maybe I should just to practice a hard course with crazy winds.

Best part because it's server based you can jump right back into that round.

I wish I would've had the chance to finish up the tourney this weekend. Hopefully the next one is open for more days.
