NBA 2K15: Yakkem Trailer (Gameplay Included)

The first extended gameplay trailer for NBA 2K15 is here, and…Yakkem!

The trailer opens up with Ernie Johnson and Shaquille O’Neal talking in studio (in the game). From there we get an extended montage of in-game action before coming back out to a funny exchange between Johnson and Shaq on set.

It isn't a huge deal and if it bothers you that much you can always get the PC version. Some things can't be addressed in time for release and all we can do is bring them up next development cycle.

I also pointed this out a few pages ago. I know it's a minor thing but it disappoints me. In 2k13 on ps3 they were bang on. Not sure why the raptors jerseys got messed up like that?

My opinion needs to be taken with a grain of salt as I didn't even play 2k14. However it seems like pretty much more of the same. Which isn't an insult especially if you like 2K brand of ball. I think they'll still be too much forced animations at key times that you want control.

Basically it will come down to what they do to MyPlayer that will determine if i'll buy 2k this year. Which was why I passed on 2k last year.

Why do people keep expecting a "wow" factor? I'm telling you guys this you won't get "wowed" again till next next gen.

Oh man someone help me remember where they had virtual Greg Gumbel(?) do the scores during halftime? Was it CHoops 2k7? Or was it something else I'm thinking of....anyway would Shaq and Ernie would be doing something like that? Virtual E&S in studio talking about what's going on during halftime would be pretty sweet......till I get tired and skip em every game.

I mean honestly the graphics were great to me, especially with the edited wingspans and such, so any additions is just gravy. At this point I see alot of complaining just because. I agree some things could be done a bit different, but talking about im not excited because im not wowed like last year sounds like some kind of graphics junkie desperate for another hit.

There hasn't been another sports game on this level graphically, and im not talking about stills... im talking laid out in front of you full force.

I think they mentioned it for as being in for MyLeague, so maybe it will extend to the other ones too

Don't get me wrong about the wow factor thing, because at the end of the day I will most likely buy the game as I have bought just about every one since 2K4. I guess all I'm saying is nothing really stood out to me besides the fact that they showed Shaq and Ernie. Still a decent trailer and what-not.

Yeah last year set the bar so high with the graphical jump...it's going to be hard to top that quite honestly...

but the graphics looking "worse" than last year?

Agreed; especially considering the previous game released less than 10 months ago and was considered one of the best looking next gen games at release (which has already been stated I think). But that's today's gamer for you; some seem to have the unrealistic expectation that these games on a yearly release schedule are somehow going to reinvent themselves every year.

Great trailer as usual, really looking forward to the new presentation elements. Can see spending plenty of time in replay trying to catch the signature celebration elements they've added, from the players on the court to the bench to the crowds. I've never been a big proponent of needing a halftime studio show but looking forward to what 2K's done with Ernie and Shaq. Seeing fake highlights from other games would be cool but would guess it's impractical from a resources standpoint if the game has to load resources for all the teams, every game. Gonna be cool seeing the different team intros; will encourage me to play every team like their live/real video segments they show from different cities. Game looks fantastic
