NBA 2K15 Video - First Look At Kevin Durant

NBA 2K15 cover athlete and NBA Most Valuable Player Kevin Durant released the first gameplay footage of NBA 2K15 on his Instagram account today. Here is the full video.

The footage features new animations and a sneak peak at some of the new crowd elements coming to the game.

NBA 2K15 arrives on October 7th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.

I didn't like the sweat effect. I don't think it was that pronounced in 2k14 was it? It's a bit overdone in my opinion.

Can't really tell much else. Will wait for an extended gameplay movie prior to making any judgement.

On second thought:

I do NOT like the defensive help in this picture There's no reason that the defense shouldn't at least be looking at KD, or shading towards him.

Edit 2: just watched it in high res from a PC, and the sweat looks good. Low res it looked like they were coated in glue. Looks better in high res.

Saw the same thing, also saw home and away GSW and Thunder jerseys. I also think I saw a couple fans wearing that dark blue Thunder alternate jersey too.

It's gonna be the same...no help defense and suck in animations...

If KD crossed Iggy he should be behind or on the side...not directly in front of him...

They need a physics engine but they're just gonna tell us they have a new one and not really have one lol...

We can hope until more information is released tho...

Pretty sure that it's the opposite. People have complained the the defense was over helping in 2K14ng.

Now I agree that they don't look interested in the play at all in that clip. Bogut especially should definately be helping on that play.

The ball control looks really well done though. It's not warping back and forth, seems like its making solid contact with his hands.

Great minds think alike apparently. That's the same image I attached, yours better quality. THere's quite a few things in that shot that bother me.

just realized that. haha, grabbed it from my phone. 2 defenders are in the EXACT same position, looking completely away from the play. Westbrook kinda the same.

Not going to complain much since this is just the 1st little reveal. Still got months of info ahead of us.

curry doing some weird stuff
no help D
all other 8 AI in the play look disengaged entirely
forced animations for iggy
why is bogut gaurding perk @ the 3pt line...

i severely hope patch 1 isnt far behind release and fixes this gamebreaking stuff

If you look closely at Klay and Iggy socks.. Socks with NBA logos are IN! KD must have ankles braces on.

Might need to go back and look, but (graphically speaking) that looks worse than 2K14. They seem to be making their way back to that gross color palette from last gen.
