I expected to be bottom 5 just not dead last. Jacksonville is really better?

Edit: Look at the individual ratings...seems like Jaguars beat Oakland because of what? Josh Scobee?? Are you serious? Lol

its pretty nice to see the ravens having an 8-8 season and still ranked 10th

from the eye ball test one would say the Ravens would be 15 or below overall rated but with the roster moves and pitta being back and strong draft (very strong especially defensively) and the fact we got Gary Kubiak ( the most underrated move of the offseason, i think the is the biggest move by anyone we will finally get away from that stale piece of crock offense by whatever his name is cam buttmeron and jim caldwell keeping the same overall idea of the offense)

its refreshing to see that from teams 18-8 are only seperated by a few points

some teams are underrated and some are overrated but in total i think the ratings came out good at least team wise...

The Redskins had the 9th ranked offense and a 18th ranked defense and they are at the bottom with the usual suspects. I understand that their record was suspect, 75. They are better than their record.

As long as dictator Donny is in charge, the Redskins won't get the favorable love given to the other teams.

Chisty!

The Redskins won 3 games last year and lost 8 straight to close out the season...

Saying your better than your record is one thing, proving it is something entirely different.

Ok then, so I guess that means I can say the Cowboys have nothing offensively except Romo, Murray, Witten and Bryant.
You saw me post about Ellington already know you wanna act like you just thought about that lmao

Yeah and the Texans lost 14 in a row, with a higher Madden 15 overall ranking. I'm sorry, but what point were you attempting to make?

The difference between the Texans and Redskins is 1 point, probably because they have two of the best players in the game Andre Johnson and JJ Watt and they selected first overall and got the best prospect in the draft. The Redskins did not. But at the end of the day does it really matter what the OVR is? Just about everyone of us here is going edit these or download new rosters. And if the Skins play better than last year they will receive ratings boosts.

My point this whole time was that after year 1 in CFM is that the Team Ratings are going to change

And their going to change with Roster updates

Eh, Im not sure of the formula for putting together the overall rankings.

Maybe its just me, but a team that lost 14 games in a row, have the worst record and be ranked higher (whether 1 point or not) than teams that did better is wrong, regardless.

So why even discuss it If it's going to change? Why did it even get posted in the first place? Why even have a message board?

We're hear to discuss Madden; whether you agree with one opinion or not.

Have a nice day champ.

After week 1 of CFM Team Ratings will change depending on how you/CPU spend XP.

Is that why last year at this time "Dictator Donny" made you guys an 86 overall (7th best in the game)?

Prior to last year 'at this time' Redskins came off a playoff season... One could say 86 was deserved...

Exactly and prior to this year they came off a 3-13 season. Donny doesn't show favoritism towards any teams. I don't agree with his rating system at all (which I ended up editing completely) but he is fair with it. If the Redskins start the season 4-0 he will release new rosters with appropriate ratings boost for them.

I understand the way Donny does things.

I also won't be swayed away from my original gripe, that teams that did worse, should have the worse overall ranking.

If Donny took in player ratings, offensive and defensive rankings, with team records, then I have even more of a gripe.

Their Offense probably accounts for most of that rating
