I think I read that you will get the reward certificate within 15 days of purchasing Madden. I believe the reward certificate deal is only if you pre order certain games, so once it is released the deal is over
Has anyone tried trading in a last gen and current gen version of the game towards a single copy?
I'll definitely be taking advantage of this deal but would love to be able to knock $50 (I assume that the coupon will be limit once per game) off the price tag.
You'd be able to do that. All they did was raise the trade in value of the Madden games to $25 for current gen, $15 for last gen. You would only get 2 coupons if you traded them in 2 separate transactions, but you can only use 1 coupon per game.
Just a heads up for everyone out there. Gamestop is selling X1/PS4 M25 for $27 pre-owned, so if you're like me and upgraded from last-gen and never got it again for X1/PS4, you can pick it up now and pair it with this Best Buy deal and still come out on top. If the wait and no demo is killing you, here's an option!
two best buy employees just told me that this deal is false. they said that if you buy madden 15 and want to return it within 15 days, then you can trade in madden 25 and return madden 15 and get $35 of in-store credit !!
what am I to believe
I traded in Madden 25 yesterday for ps3 and got $15 plus the $10 coupon just like the ad stated
Yeah eventually it will show as a reward zone certificate, could take up to 15 days though
The coupon is different from the $10 pre-order certificate. You get the coupon at the time of the trade in, it prints out the same time as the trade in receipt paperwork.

Oh yeah I thought he was asking about the points you'd get a certificate from later on..
I would like to give some advice to anyone taking advantage of this order: make sure you allow plenty of time, and don't try to do it while in a hurry. I have never ordered from Best Buy, and it probably took about 5 minutes to set up a My Best Buy Rewards Account, but I probably spent 30 minutes in the store because none of the employees knew what to do. I would definitely do it again since it is such a good deal, but make sure to allow plenty of time.
I also spent 30 minutes in the store today. They ended up giving me a $10 gift card and applying that to the PS4 version. I traded in PS3 M25 and paid a hair under $40 for PS4 M15.

They should have copies of the weekly ad in-store. The service rep I dealt had one and even though she had it in-hand she still couldn't figure out how to make everything work. They pretty much fudged the process so I could get my $25.
The fine print at the bottom wasn't helpful to the employees and the computer system they were trying to manage didn't seem to cooperate.
Has anyone used this deal to purchase/Pre-order the Ultimate Edition? Or at least see in-store advertisements that they will be selling Ultimate Edition?

The $25 is just a gift card so that wouldn't make a difference and in all honesty the $10 coupon just says Madden 15 so I'd think it'd work just fine with the UE..
I went in to my local bestbuy today and did the deal. I traded my copy of m25, got the $15 gift card and $10 coupon. I also pre-ordered Madden 15 with the gift card and paid out the rest with my credit card. The employee told me when I come to pick up the Madden and present my $10 coupon then they will refund me the $10. Did anyone do this?
At mine the manager took $25 off total for me (PS3 trade-in) so I ended up paying $39.34 for the game. They gave me a $15 gift card + $10 gift card and applied them both to the pre-order. They didn't follow policy.
